My first football game was today. The team lost 6-22 which sucks, but we had a really good first marching of our music. The music we played is great & we won a battle against the other marching band. they slept when we played so we did the same & played the best music. We also had a football player say that we were the reason they lost & we are all spiteful.
Practiced some forms and reviewed some of the videos. I even got a run in before school, never again..
Busy day today, we woke up and packed up. Ran the 1.5 miles to the car and drove it back to the hotel. We loaded up and were on the road by 10. The drive was uneventful and we were home by 2 or so, we had our bikes fixed a week ago and hadn’t ridden them, so Abigail Emma and I went on a ride. The bike felt so smooth and much easier to ride when it is all lubed up. Then we headed to black belt class, and works on hopkido, which was really good as we haven’t done much of that.
So today I started the actual letter to self in school. Then I went to King Tiger after school. I ate snack, helped out then I did rolls and falls class and black belt class. Then I went to Jimmy John’s for dinner. That’s it bye.

Today I went to school and took my quizzes and did really good on both. I got home and did some homework and ate dinner I went on a run and did my requirements. Then I watched a movie and about to go to sleep. today was a pretty chill day which is nice.
I ran a mile at school today and then after I got picked up we went to eat Korean BBQ. When we got home I finished my requirements and did more running while watching Anime
Journaled this morning when it felt like the world was against me, but tonight I'm feeling energized. Had to modify a bit in class tonight due to injury, but just being there and being around everyone training and feeling the love of the King Tiger family put things back into perspective for me. Today was a great day. I went to school and all classes except drama was boring. In drama we get to play games and have challenges with donuts for the reward. We won today so we get donuts next class. It's also an easy grade. My bus was late picking us up from school and I was the last stop for some reason. It made me late for sparring tonight. Sparring went well. I liked the drills and learned some new skills. I felt more relaxed tonight and we had good group. I hate that I have to get up early for black belt class but I'm excited to check out a different class. I'm about to eat and relax. Goodnight.
Today I went to school and we had to take 2 tests, one for a book and the second one for our dianostic for math which was really "fun". After that I came home and went to run 3 miles which was pretty easy kinda. Soon later I went to go get ice cream with my dad, after we got our ice cream we went to his place and I did my requirements. Right now im working on my science fair log book. But today was pretty chill.
Our Co-op class with other homeschoolers started today at Lake Norman Baptist Church. When I got home, I was exhausted and I don't want to go the the black belt class. But I have to go because it gives me more strength and discipline.
Today, I went to school, and had an amazing day in science. We had to present our atmosphere project, and we did great. The science lottery happened, and the bag of diabetes came out, and I did not win a thing. Now I am working on cleaning the house because my cousins are coming.
Today, I woke up, and went to school. I actually made it to the gym. Then my day continued, and I went to Owen's mom's room to go to taekwondo. While I was there I worked with Owen on hopkito 2 and 3, and sparred Landon. Also, I forgot to says this, but I ran a mile on the gym's track with Ryan.
Today I went to help at TKD. I had a really fun time. I am packing for the beach tomorrow.

It's been a few days since I've journaled, but I've been plugging away at my requirements, working, and doing some research about the Kwans for my essay. Tonight I will go to the black belt class.
I can't believe it's Friday already. Between work, taking care of two young boys, dealing with injuries, cycle requirements, finding family time, waning support... I'm feeling overwhelmed.
Thursday was OK, I did not go to the Dojang today. I did end up going on a walk, which ended up being about 3 miles then I came back home and worked on my requirements to end the night. It’s almost the weekend, I can’t wait.
August 28 - Entry # 20 Woke up and went to school. Got signed out right after lunch for my sister's orthodontist appointment. After her appointment, we went to gamestop to get some pokemon cards but they were sold out. I ended up getting a Gengar Funko Pop and picked out a Stitch one for my sister. Went went home for a little bit then headed to sparring. Glad to be at home and in the bed for the night.
Today i went to school which was boring and then i came home and then i went to run and i had chicken for dinner. Goodnight.
Today after school, my mom gave me a full meal to eat because she said I haven’t been eating properly. She was leaving to go to Vegas on a trip with her friends today. I said bye to her and was watching some TV for some time and took a short nap that felt really good. I finished my requirements after. I improved on running time today and was facetiming with my sister after. She’s in college but she’s coming over this long weekend. I had an online meeting for an organization I’m part of so I did that and had dinner.

Today was a good day. School was okay today. I had French class and learned some new words and phrases. I like it way more than Spanish. The bus ride home was long because it picked us up late from school. I relaxed a little when I got home. My mom got me Jersey Mikes and then I finished my requirements. Today was a pretty good day. At school in math we did a review about what we learned so far and we also got our quiz scores from the other day and I got a 100% because it was really easy. We have this class called seminar and the way that our principal described it was "everything the teachers want to teach you but don't have the time in their class to teach it" so basically like life skills and things about college and just how to be a better person overall. Today was a long day. I had a math test, a Spanish quiz, and a science quiz. As well I had a soccer game after school. Luckily, we managed to get the w after a hard-fought game. We didn't play very good but it was enough to win the game. After the game our coach, rewarded us with no practice tomorrow. But I'm just happy I'm home and can't wait to start sleeping.
Today I had school, and it was a normal day. After school, I had a bunch of homework to do. I went to sparring and got to practice some new stuff. After I got home, I ate dinner and I studied for the 2 quizzes I have tomorrow. Now I'm gonna go to sleep.

Today was stressful. I feel so overwhelmed with life right now. But it did feel good to go to class anyway and knock out requirements. We also had a good mentor session with Master Marcus.

today I wasn't able to get any requirements done due to homework and studying for a quiz. I hope it doesn't hurt me in the future but I will still try to make up for it either tomorrow or over the weekend.

Today I went to school and I got to almost finish my Science Fair Project but all I have to do is my experiment. After school I came to my dads house and chilled out for a little bit before we had to go to Taekwondo and we all had a sparring class. After sparring class I went home to my dads house and I did my requirements and took a shower plus I also updated the site for me. Well basically thats it for today but today was good.
Tomorow is a football game & as such me & the rest of the band will be there. I recentley learned I am extremley posotive. This is useful to keep things normal as states of disarray only lead to a changing opinnion. I vote malevolence should be added as an emotion in peoples minds.
Normal day at school, got a 90 on my social studies quiz and ran 3 miles today. Got the teach some 6th graders in band how to play their instruments today.
Nothing to really report today. Pretty normal day, went to the office for a few hours, came home, worked some more, mixed in requirements, read to my youngest, did some household chores. My wife made a delicious butternut squash soup for dinner. For the rest of the night, I'll do some more chores, watch some jeopardy, and maybe an episode of The Punisher (we're working our way through the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Today is Thursday. I have one day left until my 4 day weekend. I can’t wait. I’m going to play 2k a lot.They need to drop more codes. I need to hit a ruby rep. And I’m going to sleep in late. And at school I need us to max out on decline. I’m really curious what my max will be.
Today I ran two miles with my dad. I will also be going to the lower belt class as a white belt for my essay. I will also be going to sparring class as a Bo Cho Dan.
Today was my last full day of summer at home. It was mostly spent on essay work and packing. I went to go work out at the gym and then enjoyed lunch with my sisters and my grandfather. Packing has never been something I was particularly good at, and I am in the midst of sorting through the mess that I have with all my stuff. It's a good thing my flight is in the afternoon tomorrow.
today i only had 1 class at school. after school, i took my grandma and my girlfriend to lunch. i came home and got ready for band. band went okay i suppose. after that i did requirements and rode around with my mom.
Today was color belt testing, I went to the dojo and assisted with the test. It was good to see them be able to display what they have been working on over the last couple weeks. We didn’t have black belt class or sparring, I will have to make up for that. I will probably go to Harrisburg on Friday to get those extra credits I need.
August 27 - Entry #19 Today I got up and went to school. After school, we took my sister to get her second hole on her ears pierced. It was one of my "off" days. So, after getting her ears pierced, we went home and relaxed most of the evening. Ate dinner, got some requirements done, then showered and got ready for bed.
I'm feeling pretty good. My neck hurts if I move it certain ways, but it's much better and I've still been getting the work in although a few modifications here and there. Said goodbye and good luck to Matthew last night - he's off to school, but he'll be back before too long.

I had a really good day today. First I went to the gym and worked back, chest, and legs. When I was done with working out I went home and played my guitar. After practicing my guitar I went to band and did a good job. Then I went to out to eat with my dad. We saw a place that was teaching jujitsu. So we went inside and checked it out and it was pretty cool. I have been wanting to do jujitsu for a while now and I finally found a place to do it.
Today was an okay day at school. We had a fire drill today but the alarm kept malfunctioning and went off 4 times off and on so that was annoying. It was a pretty chill day, didn’t do much since it’s only the 3rd day of school. Afterschool there was an interest meeting for a club I want to join, Deca. So I attended that with some of my friends. After I came home, I had a snack and watched a little TV and then started my requirements. Sparring and BB class was cancelled today so I had more time but had to do more work because I had to do my poomsae, self defense and kicks at home. Today I felt a lot more exhausted than usual and my run wasn’t really hard but I got a slower time so I guess I was just going slow without realizing. I...
I love the fact that freinds work together. You can ask them stuff almost as a gestalt conciousness or hivemind. They are inhernently interesting due to their nature of assimilation. This adds to the existing knowledge base making everybody smarter. It would be funny to see this in the real world.
Today me and my friends ran a mile during recess. Went to aftercare and then helped my mentee before her testing. After dinner and homework, I finished my requirements and my run.
Another exhausting day on cycle 😅 😐 🙁 ☹️ 😟 😫 😫 aaanyway I managed to get the vast majority of my school work done before lunch and the really exhausting thing today was fraternus which for people who haven't been regularly reading my journal entries it's an evening program at my church but last week the challenge was to make a sword and actually had one from last year but I forgot to bring it luckily I was able to borrow someone else's sword but the reason we had to bring them is because they had fruit Ninja or kind of a reproduction of it🍅🍍🍉🥒🍌🗡️⚔️ but all in all it was pretty fun once again exhausting. aaggghhhhh!!

Today is Monday. Pretty chill day. In weight lifting class we maxed out on an incline bench. I lifted 110ibs. I was pretty happy. I’m guessing next week we are going to max out on decline. If I got 110 on incline I know I can do more than 95lbs on a flat bench. After school I came home. I went to taekwondo. And came back home.
Today was pretty good, I didn't have as much homework, just exercise 4 for logic, 15 problems for math, exercise 9 for Latin, and reading chapters of the bible in Mathew. I went to class today and got a mentor and leadership credit in.
Today was ok. Went to school, ran at recess and class was ok. I was a car rider so I can come home and relax before taekwondo. Today was great, I woke up, went to school. We had a star reading test today, I think I did really good. After school we went home and got ready for taekwondo. I went to my brothers shin kickers class, drills for skills, and a sparring class. I also got a mentor session in with Libby. After taekwondo I went home, had dinner, and went to bed.
I started my run and met this very nice elder man with a German Shepard named Zeus. Zeus kept sniffing me and everything else since he hasn't been outside for a while. Something that was surprising about Zeus is he was over 100 pounds. We parted ways halfway through my run but he was the nicest person I met during all my runs.
Since I haven’t journaled in a few days, this will be about the last few days. Monday was my first day of school and I didn’t get home until 6:30 AT NIGHT. This is due to some bus confusion and people getting on wrong busses. (That’s why I wasn’t there Monday) The busses are still late but getting better. My teachers all all nice but one and I don’t get too much homework so far so that’s good. Hopefully the next 178 days of school will go just as well.
Today I woke up and got ready for school, did some requirements while I waited for the bus. When I got to school, I went to class and started to read. Then I went to CE where we learned about tool safety. Then I went to PE and got crushed in basketball. Then went to science where I learned about the atmosphere. Then went to math and learned about unit scale drawings.
I continue working on my creative form. It's coming along, I've written a few things down, and changed it up a little, but should be all set soon. I taught 2 classes last night, and met with my mentee, all went well, and I ended up getting a pretty decent workout during it also. Today I'll be taking short breaks at work and using my index cards for training. Then this evening I"m going to study for the written exam.
Today i will be skipping the lower belt class because of church. I hope i can get all my exercises before my performance.
Today was my last day of work this summer at King Tiger. Don't worry, I'm coming back eventually, I always do. I'm going to spend tomorrow packing and getting things in order for when I leave. Hopefully I get a lot of black belt cycle things in too. Anyway, I hope to see everyone on future zoom calls, and I will continue my training in Minnesota.

August 26 - Entry #18 Today I chose to do my digital detox. I started off with school. After school, I went to my great grandparents and did some requirements before class. When I got to class, I worked on some of my back falls and also helped with other classes. I still need to work on hapkido 2 and 3. When class was over, I made a quick stop at the grocery store with my mom, then came home and started getting ready for bed.
Today I went to my neighbors house to watch the new but then I look at the clock and it was time to go to TKD. I was there a little late but at least I got there. After TKD I went home to go eat some chicken with my family.
I went to school in the morning. Nothing much happened today, I went to band and my adobe class for the first time and had an assembly today. I also started my diet and am just doing a simple diet of high protein, less sugar and fried food, basically no junk food. I almost missed my bus in the afternoon because I got lost. Once I got home I had a snack and then started my requirements. I went on a new route for my run and got a little lost but I figured it out. I went to my taekwondo class after and it was pretty fun. I finally caught up on my mentee sessions and learned bo cho specials. I just had dinner and am gonna go study now.

Second day of school and I got to go to my second elective today which was art. My art teacher is pretty cool, she lets us have our phones out sometimes, but some bad kids kept snickering and giggling at the back of the class so we got that took away. But a cool thing she has is guinea pigs which are behind her desk. I actually got to pet and feed them which was cool. I went to practice but I didn't get to help in the class before mine since my bus is very late and it gets to my neighborhood at like 6 o'clock. But that's my day.
Another good day today. We got up and ran 2+ miles and. Then hit the gym, the rest of the morning we spent on the beach. We came back for lunch and Abigail and I did some self defense and poomsae. Back to the beach and then dinner and bed!
Another exhausting day on cycle! So the biggest thing today was convocation for our homeschool co-op and it had four of the dads as speakers and then there was a huge dessert bar afterwards that we actually made which was kind of cool but anyway it was definitely exhausting just like everything else on cycle😫😫
Today I was able to do a half mile at school. I helped some kids in aftercare get ready for testing and I also helped out with a jr tigers class.
Today we had a nice day of school and then we got prepped for convocation tonight which provided the desserts for and it was really nice. Four of the dads got up and talked about certain virtues and encourage the kids for the new school year and it was. It was just a nice evening
today i had late arrival at school and didnt have to be there until 1:30. i got out at 3 and had marching band until 5. after that i went straight to work. i got done with that at 8:30 and now im at home wrapping up my day.
Today was picture day at school and thankfully I got to skip part of math class because of that then I went home did some requirements then I went to tkd then after that I finished my requirements.

Right after I finished, I had to get ready for class. I helped with the lower belt classes and got a mentor session. I stayed for the black belt class, for f-defense most of the time. When I got home, my sister's friend was here, so I talked to him for a while, and now I'm gonna go to bed.
Today I went to school and we had to do our 10 questions for our science fair projects. But anyways I went to my dads house after school and I stay for about 20 minutes and we went to Taekwondo which was pretty fun. After that I went to my moms house and I did my school work and requirements. But anyways today was okay.
