Today I went to my Grandma's house. It was a long trip and I slept on the way there. Then I did my requirements.
Today i ended up being really tired i did a lot at camp, also go the chance to go to black belt class and practice some of my poomsaes, tomorrow i know is going to be a long and busy day and hopefully i get good sleep tonight so i could be wide awake for tomorrow, goodnight.
Tennis practice got cancelled for the 2nd time again because of the rain. I have my sports meeting today at 6:30 so hopefully I can make it to class. Also, I got my back braces on today and it hurts so bad like I am so sore. Hopefully its better by my dance performance on Sunday.
Although my ankle is not completely back to normal, I can start exercising it more, as well as walk on it more often (albeit with a limp). The swelling across the top of the foot has all but disappeared. Because of this, putting weight on my foot is not an issue, however, descending the stairs puts pressure on my ankle unless I turn it outwards. Hopefully, it all heals up by the end of the week!
today was a very long day i woke up pretty late for my camp but i still made it in time. i had to run and do all my physical outside in the rain, i spent the whole day going over drills from 7am to 1pm and also doing a lot of extra stuff. i got to play instrument and i had tons of fun, once i got home i took a long nap and i just now woke up and hopefully can go back to sleep, goodnight.
Today when I started my run it rained. I got wet and so did my dog. And I and had to pick up dog poop for my dog while it was raining. Not fun. The rain kept coming heavy and I had to go inside. Before I went inside I did some of my kicks. I kicked the rain.
I was able to help in two classes this evening as well as get a mentee session in. I wasn't expecting to help in the Adult Class, but it all worked out in the end. My husband surprised me with hot water all ready to go (kettle shut off as I walked in the door) and I was able to make my evening cuppa chamomile. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh. G'night!
Today was a good day because I did not go to camp so I can get all of my stuff done I do not know if I am going to camp tomorrow and I hope tomorrow will be a good day to good night.
Today I saw two moons outside. I know it was just one moon but it must have had a reflection. I stayed up looking at the moon starting at 9:30pm to 10:53pm. We were coming from Gma's house on the highway. It was not that bright outside, so I had a good view of it.
Today I went to Carowinds with my friends which was super fun. I came back home and got some paperwork done for my school tennis team. I also helped my mom clean a bit and did some dance practice. I have tennis practice starting from tom! Can't wait!
Today was a sort of rest day as I've pushed it hard for several days this week. I say sort of because as we were planning or food prep for the week, my husband requested that we have more vegetarian-type meals. Well, I think he got more than he bargained for because I mage vegetarian chili, garden vegetable soup, and baked ziti with spinach. I had intended to also make sweet potato pancakes with the leftover mashed sweet potatoes, but ran out of time. Told hubby to be careful what he asks for and he just grinned at me. :-D
Hello everyone today was a nice workout day I did sparring that was pretty fun then I had an hour until black belt class that was fun and a funny class then we all came back home and then I went to get my hair cut I was so close to getting a mohock then we came back and then I played the Wii and then I created a rollercoaster in my phone and then I went to bed
The day started early for me as I met my running buddy at 7:00 this morning for a 2.5 mile run, followed by sparring and black belt classes. My legs are definitely feeling it this evening and I do not think I will have any trouble sleeping! LOL!
Today is gonna be a super busy day! It already is in fact. Also I am running on 2 hours of sleep so pray for me! Lol anyways hope every one has an amazing weekend!
Tonight I went to my friend's and we played video games. I haven't seen him in a month. It was good to see him and I had a lot of fun!
Today was a fun day I ran did my requirements and then I finished my book so now I can do my essay then I'm going to do my hero essay then we dropped of my brother and his friends off at the mall then I played out side that was fun then we picked up every one and then dropped them all off and we came back home and then we all are and then took a shower and went to bed
I don't know about y'all, but I AM LOVING THIS WEATHER!!!!! I was able to get in 4 miles of running with my new running buddy and I pushed a little harder than I normally would have. Love having a running partner as it makes the time and distance go much faster and we challenge each other. Well, and early night tonight as tomorrow morning is going to be pretty full. L8R!
today was great over all first i woke up again made my lunch and went to camp when i got there i ran a mile for a warm up then got ready to play when it was over my mom came and picked me up. i went to eat at panerea with my mom then when my lunch was over i had to go back to camp to finish off and i just back home and I'm very tired and I'm ready to go to bed because today was a long exhausting day, goodnight.
Good Black Belt class tonight. I'm doing better with my rolling for Red/High Red self defense, but still terrifies me to have the ground rushing up at my face. :-) Was happy to also get a request for a running partner! YAY! Now I don't have to go solo anymore since I had to give up my old Tues-Thurs run group! What's even better is that we have the same goal of being able to run a 5K by the end of the year WITHOUT the walk breaks. Looking forward to that!
Well today has been a chill day so far. I did my excerise and helped my mom clean a little bit. My friend is gonna be coming over in a little bit to practice for a dance we are doing on the 12th of August. Also I'm having a major post Cancun depression. I really just wanna go back :(
Today has been great i went to band camp in the morning had a lot of fun but also a lot of work when i came home i went to go play some soccer with friends tomorrow is going to be just like today but longer and hopefully i get a good rest so i will be able to wake up tomorrow at 6 am sharp to go to day 3 of camp tomorrow so goodnight!
Today I just found out that I am the goat because today me and my friend was playing basketball because the score was 2 to 8 and I came back on him for the win so that was cool and now I am tried so good night
I got in another 2 miles tonight while the adult class was going on. Tonight's run felt better than Monday's as I wasn't as tired. It's amazing what a little extra sleep can do for you! I was a little bummed my mentee didn't come in as I was looking forward to working with him again. :-( I also enjoyed working with a new student tonight, though I wish I was more effective at explaining how to do basic kicks. Any advice anyone wishes to share would be most appreciated! Well, I've got my chamomile tea, and a pretty good book (so far). TTFN!
Today I worked out with my friend Brice. We did our poom saes and self defenses. And we did pushups and sit ups. Later I ran with my Mom. I like that because she let's me stop to catch my breath. My brother makes me keep running.

Well I got back in charlotte last night at 12 a.m. Cancun was amazing. I honestly want to go back. Anyways its time to get back to work and stay on top of it. I have a lot to do in such less time! Hopefully I can get it all done in time! Well i guess I will end this here and go get started!
First of many journal entries to come! I have been very busy this summer. I have a summer online course but I've been behind in my work lately, which is why I am starting this entry in the middle of the night. I been up late most nights catching up and learning about our country's civics and economics. So far I have been able to juggle my requirements and my summer course quite well, but I'm going on vacation soon so it's going to be a challenge to stay on top of what I need to do. Off to bed now! (right after i finish this quiz)
Today was very painful because I got closed lined and now my back hurts. Also the boys had to try to do a spilt and that hurt my legs so today was painful so I hope that tomorrow will not be painful goodnight.
Today I went to the movies with King Tiger Summer Camp. I saw Happy Feet 2. I almost fell asleep. I got too cold. The movie had a lot of singing in it and I really enjoyed it.

Today I felt like I was in a fog all day. Just couldn't shake it. I felt much better after helping with the Family Class and after "working it out" in the Black Belt Class. Hoping this passes. Off to bed in the hopes of getting some extra zzzz's.
This morning when I got to work one of my co-workers made a surprise request and asked me if he could work my weekend. Not trade, but work it for me, which doesn't change my position in the rotation. I was thrilled as I now do not have to go to work on Saturday after Black Belt Class! And once he realized that I was on the cycle he told me to let him know if there are any other weekends that I may need him to cover for me. These guys are great. I hate to ask for favors like that as I want to pull my weight and work weekends like everyone else, but it's nice to be able to have people you can turn to for help. Today was amazing, well i woke up early in the morning because i had band camp i prepared my lunch and went off for camp i arrived at 7am and received on of my new instruments which was pretty cool we did many drills and we ran a mile outside for our physical which was awesome! i got to be the leader of my section so i taught all the freshman about how to play there new instrument so i showed the and told them how to play different notes i had a great time. And now i got him and I'm going to some requirements and then hopefully go to sleep so goodnight.

Last Wednesday, I twisted my ankle in class. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got crutches the next day. This is actually the first time in my life that I've needed crutches! However, yesterday I tried walking on both feet a little and it was quite painful so I stayed mostly on my crutches. Today, I began to walk on my own a little more, and to ease the pain (and instead of medication), I started exercising my foot by circling it in the air, moving my toes, and massaging it.
Today was fun because I got to wear my panther jersey, we went to get something to eat and then we came home. I took the trash to the front and then I ran my mile and my time was 9mins and now I am tired .

Got back on my yoga mat for the first time since the pre-cycle started. It told me real quick just how much I've been neglecting my flexibility training and highlighted areas I need to spend more time on. As I get older, this is the one aspect of my training that I need the most, but yet forget to do and one way or another I will pay for it in the end. However, it felt wonderful to get out there on my desk, with my dog wanting to "help" me. One thing I will be doing is scheduling more "me" time as flexibility training is something that we are supposed to be doing regularly anyway. :-)
Yesterday I did my first Spartan race. I didn't like it because I got stuck in mud twice. It was jusy too much mud. And there was cow poop in the field! I jumped over obstacles and that was good. And I had to carry some heavy stuff and that wasnt bad. It was just the mud. Too much.
Hello everyone!Today was a busy day! We had to wake up at 6am and went to the Spartan race. The best thing about it was the obstacle courses since I have never done that before. I didn't like it because we were running in muddy water but it was still fun. And my shoe kept falling off. Then I had to still come home and do all my requirements.
Today was a good day to because I did awesome in class and I did all my stuff good and then after class me and my mom went to smoothie king and I got a strawberry extreme and then I played my play station 4.
Today was boring because I did not go to camp and to day was game day and they had the game truck so that was bad so I am tried so bye and good night.
Today I got a new phone. I didn't like it at first. But now I really like it. I know how to use it better and can use it in different ways.

Today was my third day of the white belt challenge and in class we had a quiz I don't think I did well, so when I came home I studied. After class I went to sparring we kicked the bags a lot of times and then after sparring I had my mentor session. Then I came home ate, did 20 pushups, 20 sit ups and now I am tried so good night.
Today i did a lot of stuff, as soon as i woke up i went for a run and then came back home and fed my dog after that i took a little 20 min break to just watch a little of tv then, i got up and decided to clean my moms car just for a random act of kindness. I thought it would be easy but it was pretty dirty inside which made it hard but i had to do it anyways. Once i got done i went to a camp to were i could play a soccer game with all my friends i had a great time because my team won! today overall was pretty fun.
Well today was full of packing and cleaning my house, since I am going to Cancun from this Friday to the 1st of August. It was very tiring and I don't like packing very much. We did so much yet I feel like there is so much left to do and finish. Can wait till my vacation actually begins so I can live a fantasy for 5 days. Well thats all for today.
Today I stayed home by myself for a little while. Then my Dad came back to the house to pick me up to take me to my aunts house so we can put bug killer in her house.

Today I ran with my Mom. I ran about 2 miles and it was night time. It was challenging but pretty fun. Challenging because we ran up and down hills. Fun because I actually got to see how good my Mom was at running.
Today was the first day of my white belt challenge, so I was nervous a little bit but it was okay. After class I did hyper and Master Evins put a kicking target on the top of the sparring bag and we had to kick the target off. I was able to kick the target and then Master Evins held the kicking target higher and I asked him to hold it even higher and he did and I hit the target.

It was my first back at camp from a couple weeks off. It felt pretty good but annoying. Some people are pretty wild and talk too much.They sometimes get us in trouble. People did start to learn to stop talking so much. We played a couple of mat games. Some people just couldn't handle it, so they had to sit out a round. But it was still a very good day. I actually got to help at one station. Cool.
Today was a very long day , as soon as i woke up i went to go take a run then got back home and did some requirements, after that i went with my dad to see a job interview for him hopefully he gets it but the car ride to the place was very long, it was about like two hours away i fell asleep the whole entire ride there! when i got back home i got to eat and then hanged out with my parents for a while. I'm very sleepy at the moment and i didn't get much hours of sleep yesterday and hopefully i can tonight. well have a goodnight hopefully tomorrow will be a nice sunny day for a nice run!

Hello!!! Today was another busy day. I ran 3 miles again and then we biked a little. Then my mom showed my brother how to drive I was so scared!! Then I had to do some chores and then Brice, Zach, and Josh came over and we worked on all our requirements. It was so hot outside but we still wanted to go biking after. Everyone had to go home because it started raining so hard! So then I did my white belt essay.

Today was my pre test and I was sweating like crazy but I did good today. After the pre test we went to two seminars today and that made me very tried and hungry so we got pizza and then we got milkshakes goodnight!
Today was a busy day! We had pre-test today and everyone did pretty good! I did 45 pushups and 45 sit ups 10 pull ups and 100 jumpropes. Then I went straight to the seminars. We had a lot of warming up to do. We did sparring first which made me very tired! Then we had a group picture and our poomsaes. I was tired but then I came home and played outside until it was dark. Hi! Today was my pre-test and I had a good time. Now I know what it feels like to start testing. I got some of my requirements in and that was good. And I went to the sparring seminar and that was helpful too. What I liked best about the seminar was that I found out what parts I was doing wrong on a couple of my poomsaes. When I was sparring I learned in techniques so that I can become a better fighter. I'm ready for the next competition and hopefully win in my match. I also got to read about the megalosaurus which means giant lizard. I really like dinosuars!! All kinds of them.
Today was pre-testing, and I was a little hyped up. I didn't quite meet all of my goals exactly, but that's what the cycle is for. I thought that there was going to be color belt poomsae and self-defense also, but I suppose not. Now that I got a taste for how testing is going to be (at least the physical requirements), I know exactly what I need to work on!

today me and my mom got up early to look for a sponge for my hair but we could not find any so that was crazy so after that my mom drive me to camp and then we went swimming at 4:00 until 5:00 so that is it because I am tired and I have to wake up early for the pre physical test.

Today I woke up at 5:50 AM to get ready for camp. After I got dressed my mom drive me to camp and I had to ask my teacher if I could get my watch back. Most of the day at camp we played the card game speed all day ,so I have to get in the shower and go to bed so I can get my hair sponge tomorrow
So today is the day before my vacation. Today I went to my grandma's house and helped her do some things. I was so excited when my dad came and picked me up. We went to go get our haircuts and then went home. Then we all started to check our bags to see if we had everything we needed for the flight and California. Then I went ahead and printed the Black Belt Test. Now I am about to go take a shower and go to bed because we have to wake up very early.
Today is testing day! My mom came and picked me up from school so I could come home and take a nap. I am a little nervous but very excited to get this over with!
Only a couple more hours till I am at the Do Jang doing my pre test and getting ready for tomorrow. I am very very excited and I am going to get some sleep in so I can be energized!

Today we had our Earth Day event at school. I learned that instead of throwing away so much stuff we can compost many things such as fruit peels, leaves, and grass. But you can't compost glass bottles and tin foil. Those can be recycled. The reason you can't is because glass bottles and tin foil can not break down. Glass takes 500 to never years and tin foil never breaks down.
Tommorrow is testing! This is also my last journal. I am writing this journal to say good job to everyone that has made it. Tommorow we will show what we have learned during this cycle. I have good times and bad time during this, but tommorow is what I did this for so I will not give up know. I think that know one should give up because we made it this far, and did so much. It just started raining and I highly dislike rain. It makes me feel veryyyy lazy. It was such a beautiful day today, why did mother nature have to put an end to it. I hope it does not rain tomorrow.
Some people may know I havent been in class for a few weeks and won't be making it to the testing friday or saturday.
During the physical I wasn't feeling great and knew something was up but still was as dedicated as ever and pushed myself to complete the physical. A few days later I started showing symptoms of a medical issue I have and began my treatment schedule to get everything under control and try to keep myself healthy enough to complete the cycle.
A popular saying from my mentor a long time ago. He would tell me to slow down and make the movement smooth, usually it involved shooting. Then, as the motion smoothed out, it became faster. It seems the same with the black belt cycle. We start out slow, and it feels like I'll never get those numbers down, then it becomes repetitious and consistent. Next thing you know the numbers are building up and your speed is flying. I'm looking forward seeing all of you Friday night. You worked hard, now it's time to go guns blazing and get those last requirements knocked out, and look polished for testing. Remember, we hardly ever succeed alone. My mom has had so many meetings this week that she hasn't been home for dinner with us. But she has been nice enough to make dinner for us every night before she leaves. The favorite thing my mom has made for us to eat is chili!
Today was beautiful. Even the weather was amazing. I love when we have perfect weather like this. I would loved if it always stayed this way, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

Today we went to see the dentist. I had my teeth cleaned but didn't get an xray this time. I am really excited because I have no cavities!

Today we had friends over for waffles and sausage. Afterwards, I wrote my final essay for black belt about my community service project. We also wrote one of my recommendation letter requests. We watched Moana, talked to my grandparents in Denmark, and had chips and salsa for lunch. I ran two miles and had a burger for dinner. And I completed ALL of my situps.
