Good day today I just have to remember my limitations. Still a little tight on the right leg. But all in all good.
Today started out with me having a bad attitude about my exercises because my mom pushes me to have everything done very early in the morning but after arguing with her I got my attitude adjusted and realized that this is something I dedicated myself too and something I want badly so I am determined to get there. I got everything done but my jump roping because my jump rope broke so we had to go get a new one then I finished up my jump roping. This afternoon I took all 3 classes and got in a leadership credit and mentee session. I also got to make the announcement about a fundraiser that the candidates from Belmont are doing together to raise money for Levine's and we already had people signing up to participate so that was exciting. Tonight I meditated while my mom made dinner then I am going...
I have not logged in for a while due to family issues, trying to get everything completed has been very tough with the heel injury and then the family matter. I have to move on so I need to get back into the swing of things and take care of business. I have completed worked outs at Crossfit and practiced but just not like I want to do for this cycle but August 16 is here and need to be ready Burkart out
I really didn't want to do my requirements today and then I talked to my mom and she motivated me to get it all done. My plan for myself is to just do it and get it over with. I will try again tomorrow.
Feeling good today, the right leg is about 80%. I did some leg stretches, it still a little tight but will be oh right. Some say mind over matter. But i sayMind over pain.
Today was a very fun day being able to go shopping for new clothes for school. I was able to get what I wanted, which consists of basketball shorts and shirts but still got other nicer clothing.
Today I started on my exercises a little later than I have been & it was hotter outside today so running was tough but I got it done. Then I took a 30 minute break and started on getting everything else for the day done. I did some extra exercises today but not as much as I have some other days. I am not going to have much time at all to do exercises once school starts & with taking 2-3 classes per day so I am really trying to hard to extra in everyday so I can maintain during the rest of the cycle and it will be a relief. Today I just finished my requirements and I am ready to take a break. I am getting close to finishing my pull ups.
To tell the truth I have been forgetting to come on the site and log my requirements I've been working a lot at the dojang and when I get home I'm really tired and I as soon as I sit on the couch I fall asleep and when I awake I just go straight to bed so I can wake up the next day and go do it again the next day. Do not get me wrong I enjoy it greatly but it does make me exhausted so it makes it harder to remember to come on here and do all of this and I have 3 more weeks of combined camp and classes it should be fun I enjoy teaching and want to do it for the rest of my life owning my own martial arts school. Well I am enjoying my two days of r and r and starting...
I started today by doing my running then ate breakfast and went to N. Charlotte for Hyper Pro, Saturday black belt and sparring classes. After class we made our weekly trip to Rita's then had to go to a few stores to do some back to school shopping. I got a lot of new stuff so that is 1 good thing about back to school. As soon as I got home I was really tired but my mom pushed me to do my exercises and she pushed me hard today so we have argued a lot. I finally got everything done then watched TV until dinner. We take take-out tonight and it was great...I had one of my favorites, steak. I'm going to rest and watch TV the rest of the night because I have to get up early for church in the morning.
I was able to attend Black Belt Class today. Afterwards we went to the aquarium at Concord Mills. I ‘m going to go finish my requirements for the day.

It been a while since I've been able to do black belt cycle i was sick and my cousins came for a week. So not much time but i have done a quite a bit this morning.
Today it was raining really hard when I got up so I couldn't do my running early so I went ahead and started working on my other exercises. Once the rain let up some I went ahead and did my running in the light rain. It was hard trying to get in today around the rain but I got it done. I couldn't do anything outside today so I focused a lot of my exercises. I didn't have any classes tonight so I am looking forward to 3 tomorrow. Tonight I did meditation then went to dinner with my special friend Murphy. Murphy is 3 and so funny. We went to Friday Night Live after dinner because Murphy wanted to dance. It was fun watching him. I am really tired tonight.
I got some of my requirement done at home and went to the Y. Â I got all of my push-ups done there. Â We went home and I finished my requirements. My cousin Ethan helped me do my physical requirements. He helped me by doing them along side of me.
today i was really tired bc i only got 4 hours of sleep. i slept in a tent in my backyard for my sister's birthday party. i got soaking wet bc it down pored the whole night. so yeh. that was fun. got my requirements done today. :)
Today I was doing koreo and did the hop-step side. Then fell on my arm. it jammed upward and hurt so much.
Today their were about 9 people at camp, their still loud kids though. During black belt class all we really did were poomsaes and self defenses.
So I do believe my right leg is a little upset with me. Yes I might have push it a little this week, but the left leg is not complaining. Get over it right leg.
Not to happy right now. Pulled a muscle on my right leg tonight, may have to cut back on some kicks for a few days. Will see if this ibuprofen will help, if not oh well I keep on going. I LOVE PAIN.
Today I went to class in belmont and took two classes then went to charlotte at 7:30 and took a class with Master Shin :) Also got all my basic kick requirements finished. I am excited about that.
Today I didn't do anything other than focus on taekwondo and I got a lot accomplished. I got up very early and started with my running then started working on my other exercises. I spent a lot of time working on getting extra requirements done and worked on my study guide. Then I went and took 2 regular classes and earned a Leadership credit then went to N. Charlotte for a weekday black belt class with Master Evins. I feel great getting so much done today & enjoyed black belt class a lot.
I got up at 6:00 today to get my requirements done before we went to Adventure landing. I ran a mile and a half outside this morning and the weather was really nice. I didn't go to any classes.
Today at Kate's Skating Rink we were playing a game called wipeout where on purpose you fall when the music stops. So first time music stopped I fell and got up and looked at my pinkie finger and saw my finger was completely sideways at the 2nd joint. I proceeded to freak out. I went over to Master Hartle and he jerked back into place and got me ice and everything, so thank you very much for that! It was an interesting experience. I went to buy a splint at Walgreens and went back to KTA for sparring class.
Today I did my requirements and I tried to do some falls a I fell on the floor not the mat. And I knocked the wind out of my self. oops :(
This week I will participated in the white belt challenge which is very hard to remember since the last time I was a white belt was 4 years ago.
Today Vacation Bible school. My mom said there was a surprise let us see. The surprise was our grandparents came visit. Just for the night. It was cool because I got to show them a picture of my buddy from vacation bible school. It was a great surprise because I didn't expect it.
Today was a regular summer camp Wednesday, we went to the movies. Later when we ran I got a mile in 8:39. In adult class I was a white belt so I was with the lower belts doing kicks.
So today I woke up and went to get out of bed and my leg said NOOO! Now that was a good work out yesterday. So I had breakfast and told my legs no pain no gain. Then went and got on the elliptical for 50 min and all was OK. Now the leg are happy.
I got my requirements done earlier than normal before my friend came over this morning. I did the 4:30 and 5:30 class and got a leadership credit. We did lots of falls and rolls. I hurt my ankle doing a spin fall off of a chair. I'm fine now.
This morning I had tennis camp from 9-12 and I really enjoy tennis. After tennis I came home and did my running. It was harder today to do my running since it was in the middle of the day when it was hot outside. I have realized that doing it early in the morning really helps a lot. After I finished my running I worked on getting all of my other exercises done then it was time to go to taekwondo class. I took all 3 classes tonight and got another Leadership credit.
I went to class today already done with my requirments so I got extra requirments in class.Master Shin did a hyper class so everybody took that class even the instructors and did lots of falls and rolls. :)
Today my friends came over yet again and we met at chick-fil-a for lunch. Then they came over to my house. I went to tae kwon do and nocked out a mentee session. And I had to put in some requirements.
Ran a couple of miles and worked out with Master Schneider at noon time. It is our last work out for awhile since she will be leaving for England for the month of August and then a quick trip at the beginning of September:( So much harder to work out all by yourself. Going skating tomorrow with the summer campers...that is always a work out. My candidates are all doing their white belt challenge this week. It is also a challenge for the Instructors to keep them with white belt curriculum. I love it because you can really concentrate on the basics.....
Today was a fantastic day, took the lunch time class worked on leg, then went home and worked in the yard, then work on my requirements, then took the black belt class, and ended the day with the PMAA class.I feel awesome. I think I will sleep good tonight.
Today I put I was very busy. I ran by myself today because my dad had to got to work. Then I went to a camp to volunteer at then came back in the afternoon and went to the same camp but for the older kids. That's why I didn't get to do leadership or black belt class today.....
I really didn't want to do my requirements today because my motivation wasn't up at all. I ended up doing more requirements than I usually have to do. I didn't stop because I committed to the cycle and I can't stop now when the cycle hasn't even started. I got a leadership credit today and took black belt class too.
I got a lot done today. Dusting off my color belt self defense for the physical. started a goal of running 2 miles every day. FINALLY started on sparring rounds :)
Today when I ran I timed 8 minutes and 15 seconds, which is the best I've done in a long time. During PMAA we did double stick section b and c, and we also did some of the new curriculum.
My 2nd day doing the white belt challenge and everybody thinks I got put back to white belt because I was bad :p .In class today I helped 2 classes and took the 6:30 Black Belt class and worked on palegwe il, and yi forms and got extra push ups and sit ups in. ;)
This morning my friend came over and hung out at my house then I went over to his. then I got back home ate some dinner and went to my Black Belt class.
This morning my friend from taekwondo came over at 7:30 and we ran together before it got home outside then I came back home and ate breakfast then spent the rest of the morning working on my other exercises and study guide for the written test. I went bowling for a little bit this afternoon with my sister before going to taekwondo class. I took 2 regular classes and 1 weekday black belt class. I always enjoy black belt classes and I got a Leadership I credit so that made me feel good. I have had some days that have been really hard to get my exercises in but now they are getting easier and I am starting to feel like I will be able to do this.

Great Class on Saturday with Master Evins! I love being a higher belt....allowing me to be on the floor for a lot of the class. It was a great work out....especially doing the Short Stick form with everyone! If your right quad doesn't feel sore the next day, you are not doing it right!!!! I love cycle time, when we have really big classes and lots of energy. I am still trying to learn everyone's name.....but getting there! Ran before class, but took off on Sunday. Back at it this week with a two mile run with Master Schneider and Inst. Lloyd on Monday. Went to dinner with some friends that I hadn't seen since last November on Monday night. So good to see old friends. Only 4 more weeks till school starts.........

I workout three times a day. We do body weight exercises during the day at the dojang with other black belt candidates. Then later on we do class and that is always a workout :D. Then when I get home I workout with my sister in-law with actual weights and run some more. In average I run 2.2 miles daily! I'm not complaining or anything It's just a shock to go from being sedimentary at school.
Master Shin came back today from vacation and I got a leadership 1 credit. We did something fun today in class that involved falls on a crash mat. It was really fun because even if you didn't want to fall, you had to because you would've gotten hit with the sword.
Just had awesome class tonight, RED STRIP NIGHT. Sure am glad I had a light day at work. Will have to keep some of these work outs in my book of fun.
Today I went to the park and ran then I ran some errands with my mom. We got some stuff for my camping trip on Thursday (I'm going to Montana). After that I went home and I played some video games for about twenty minutes and went to class. I did a ton of my self defenses with Cheyenne, thanks for that by the way. After that class I lead the next class, it was the first time that I had lead the whole class from start to finish. I think that I did a pretty good job. We did self defense, poomsaes, we conditioned our wrists, and we did rolls and falls.
Today my church did bible school. It's basically a school for bibles. I got some new buddies.One likes for me to carry him ever where. The other likes to tackle me.
This past sunday I did empathy being mute now I understand what its like not really be able to communcating with words.Instead you had to use paper or signing with your hands.Today was fun becuase master shin came back from vacation and we did falls and rolls. :) ;)

It was extremely hard today trying to do my running because it was so miserable outside. I really had to push myself hard to keep running & not stop but I managed to get it done. Today when I got to the N. Charlotte school their was nobody there to teach the hyper pro class so Master Natasya and I taught a hyper pro class at a school we don't even go to.

Today I took Saturday black belt class. We worked on a lot of stuff. I was sore through the whole class because master burkart gave us a hard workout on Thursday. So I am still sore. Now I am going to watch a movie with my family. :)
Today was a easy day. It was a fun day as well. We had our own little magic show the kids put on! They did very well. Later on they watched a movie while myself and the other black belt candidates did one of my workouts and went running.

Today i left the hotel. It was a really nice hotel with a pool and dogs.I didn't like the long ride home.The ride was 12 hours long. It almost killed me, the worst part was siting still.
So just when you think you have it down , keep practicing it, because you don't. But that's the fun part of it. You have to challenge yourself.
Jason Frame came to visit us today at KTA Lake Norman! All the kids and adults enjoyed it. Did some a workout that I have been working on today. Was testing it on other KTA Lake Norman black belt candidates.

Today during summer camp we had a magician come and show the kids some magic. During sparring class Marcus decided to work us really hard and tire us out.

After a rainy start to the week, the rest is getting better. Don't mind the rain, but it keeps me from running....and it keeps the Summer Campers inside and that is not good:) Magic show today at camp. Fun times. Have Top Team tonight. Feeling pretty good right now, but will need some Spark pretty soon:)

Today I went to the dmv to get my after nine license. When I got back to the dojang they weren't there so I went for a walk. Later after all the classes when I was about to go home their was something wrong with my car and I had to call up my dad to come and take a look at it, it's alright now.
Today was my first full day back from vacation. I didn't get a lot done when I was gone. I went to all 3 classes today. We had wacky Wednesday with Miss Pam. I got A LOT of requirements in. Between classes I had a Mentee session. We worked on front rolls.
I went to class and also got leadership credits. I did my mile at home and it started raining on us. I think the cycle is really hard. I think it's made for us to grow to be more responsible and take more initiative. Taking initiative means instead of waiting for someone else to do something, you should go ahead and do it. Like when you have free time in class you can get some requirements done. I think I should work on that because I don't exactly do that myself. Me and my family were talking at dinner about all of this.
Today I woke in the morning and ran 2 miles. Then I did half of my push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups. Then I went to basketball camp which was awesome. After that, I played some video games. Then I did all my other physicals and watched a movie.
Today I woke up and watched some TV then I when downstairs and did my empathy training essay. After that I ate an awesome breakfast, sausage, grits, toast, and eggs. Then I went down stairs and played some minecraft then I came up and drew for about 2 hours and I ended up drawing a pretty good person. I was very happy because I really stink at drawing people (normally I draw dragons). then I went to class and that was great Mrs.Pam is teaching class because Master Shin is at the beach and she did great.
Today I was allowed to teach a full class it was very exciting yet also confusing because I was not used to doing stuff like that in class
I love summer camp!! It is really fun and we go different places and do different things. it is fun because we play games to.

Most Tuesday are my long days, but the rain cut into my mowing time. Like to thank Master Evins for my credits for the PMAA camp, 25Mentors, 25 saturday black belt class,25 PMAA,25 sparring class, 25 black belt week class. You know I will be going to the Myrtle Beach camp.
It was a cloudy day again. I got up and did my poomsaes and then went bowling. I learned Pal Gwe Yi in black belt class.
I didn't really have much going on today. I got up at 6:45 and did my running. My friend who lives behind me wanted to run with me again today which always helps. After I did my running I helped my mom with some things she needed before she went to work and helped get her car loaded with her work stuff. Then I worked on my other exercises for a while and did some chores around the house. It was rainy again today so there wasn't much to do. I took both regular classes tonight and the weekday black belt. I finished getting a Leadership I credit and got credit for a weekday black belt class. I have tennis tomorrow morning so I am excited about that but got to get up extra early to get started on my exercises before tennis.
To tell the truth it has been a while since I have written an entry and the reason is one I've honestly just have forgotten to do it and two I was in a car crash exactly a week ago and that just took up my whole head and I was in a lot of pain for a couple of days but I'm fine now. I didn't let that stop in less than 12 hours I had to go into camp and teach my little tigers and you know what I had a great time maybe it was harder to get around but I was very happy to be there. Now my mother has a new car and she loves it and to tell the truth the car we have now is a fantastic car and it is a 2012 Honda Odyssey and I cannot wait to be able to drive...
Today I upped my numbers and it was really hard. I'm not used to doing more of everything. I felt really proud of myself at the end of the day for doing a lot. Even though I upped my numbers, I still did more than I was supposed to. For example I was supposed to do 150 pushups but I ended up doing 245. I want to thank Ms. Pam for helping me get some poomsaes and leadership during class. Class was really fun too because we did a game at the end. It was like the jeopardy game that we used to do.
Rain rain rain didn't get my miles in today. Had a long day at work, nothing to do till the last hour. It's nice to have a slack day, but it seems like the clock just stops.
I have two days left in NY. I am sad to leave because I have had so much fun here. I wen t golfing with my grandpa, I swam with my cousins, I went boating, and it was all so fun! I can't believe its almost over.
