A work in progress

Returned home Sunday from a marriage retreat. Hopefully I'm working better now. There is nothing more uncertain than walking in a marriage retreat. You don't know if your wife is going to get up out of her chair and start crying yelling, "You ruined my life!" Or, if a group of people that you don't too well are going to encircle you for a group embrace session. You just don't know. Fortunately, it turned out to be a lot of fun and every educational. Nobody fought, no fingers were pointed or directed upward, we just learned that our relationship with God is the determining factor of having a great marriage. For those who are old enough to marry, I highly recommend one. For those who are younger, get ready, challenge is coming your way. But like every challenge in your life, meet it with a smile and a clean pair of underwear. It's good on the other side.

Make it so, Mr. Ryan
