Journal #48 - 3/02/2026 Lalitha

Today was normal. I had a retest for ELA (even though I already passed — still not sure why I had to retake it), but I got a 100 on it. School went by in a blur. I went for a run in the morning, and after my last block I fell asleep for a bit before getting ready for TKD.

In PMAA we worked on single stick since our test is next week — I think we’ll pass without any issues :> it was pretty funny today. After that I helped out with the Senior Tigers since it was their belt ceremony (congrats!). Master Evins called me up to the front to help hand out the belts. We worked on sparring since it’s sparring week.

After that I had a mentee session with Emelia. We worked on her last belt forms, self‑defenses, and kicks. Since I’ve taught her all the way through, the only new things she needed were the next self‑defenses, so we practiced 1–3 since 3, 4, and 5 are similar. I also worked with her slide‑backs and step‑backs like we did in class.

Then I had a mentor session with Master Weeks. I worked with Arvaan (my partner today) on Yellow Belt one‑step and High Green kick defense. After that I came home, showered, practiced, worked on my homework, and helped my mom make dinner; and somehow managed to cramp my leg muscle in the process, but I’m okay. I edited my essays, read a bit, and I’ll probably study my study guides before bed.

Hope everyone’s doing well, and good luck with the rest of the cycle. — ⟭⟬ Lalitha Sree Damarla⁷    ^-^
