Hard like woodpecker lips

Watched the movie The Revenant tonight. It's a good reminder how tough men and women were back then. Constantly dealing with freezing temperatures and doing what you must to survive. The movie was waaaaay to long but the story line was fascinating. And since it's based on a true story, it's really humbling. Unfortunately, it also meant not doing some of my requirements I wanted to do. But at least I can get this still in before it turns midnight. Watching that movie reminded me of the title I gave to this journal entry, "Hard like woodpecker lips." Now, I can say I have never kissed a woodpecker before, but we can imagine that they must be pretty tough lips to do all that pounding into the tree. I pray my fellow Cycleillians got more of your requirements than I did today. I was happy to go for a good three mile run and visit my cow friends. They were very confused, but deep down I felt them cheering for me. Take care out there and keep plugging away.
