And on the 8th day, there was Martial Arts

Here's an odd thought, what if those guys in the Bible practiced Martial Arts? What if Moses went up and side kicked Pharaoh in the head to emphasize, "Let my people go!" Now, of course, that's not the Christan way, but since Martial Arts has been around for thousands of years, and Biblical stories are thousands of years old, someone from the line of Abraham had to have been able to do a wicked flying tornado kick?

I'm a big fan of the concept of mind, body and soul. It sounds a little cliche, but I think most miss the soul part of the phrase. Faith and Martial Arts are quite synonymous. Martial Arts is training your mind to believe that your body can do amazing things. Faith is the belief that there are amazing things out there beyond our imagination. When we witness an incredible demonstration that completely blows you away, that's faith. Faith in oneself  to do what most people would find impossible. Now I'm not trying to beat you over the head with the Bible, but I wanted you to see the parallels of Faith and Martial Arts. They run together to complete the mind and body. It would be like missing one of the Three Stooges, it wouldn't be as funny. Great class tonight. Keep pressing on my fellow Cycleillians.

Look at that, I made a new word
