Candidate Journals

This morning the internet was down so i could not journal as early as i had hoped. Yesterday i got almost all of my requirements done despite my having to do school except i went to bed pretty late. That night my granddad was showing us a video on the computer and my little sister got his lap to watch and the chair he was sitting on broke! So we had a hard time getting that fixed but we manged. Today we went to the Durham Life and Science Center. We had a lot of fun and did so many cool things. It was so hot outside but we got ice cream at this little cafe. There was this one place where you push a button and mist comes out of tubes in the ground. The mist was so cool and refreshing it felt so good. My dad had to work...

Crazy day!!! Doctors appointment lasted longer than expected so it snowballed for the rest of the day. Just got home now need to scramble so I can get out to Monroe by 7:00. Unfortunately no TKD tonight other obligation but all is good. I am looking forward to being off tomorrow and the weekend. Maybe there will be a little light at the end of the tunnel for catching up.

I had school today and it was cool. I learned about the 9/11 which was the planes that were trying to hit the twin towers the pentagon and the white house, it was really sad, and scary i wished it had never happened.

Today i had art at school. It was boring. I was very dissapppointed.

Today I did a presentation in civics class. I think I got a good grade. It felt like a really long day today and it isn't over yet because I still have tae kwon do tonight. Yay! I hope I will survive.

I Had Homeschool Tkd Today. It Was A Good Class. I Got To Lead. After Class We Had Chinese For Lunch. It Was Very Good!

Today is the 13th anniversary of 9/11 and I pray for those who gave their lives to help everyone that day and for the ones who didn't make it. R.I.P

Yesterday in class we did something called the ladder, where you have to do 10 pushups, 10 situps then 9 of each, 8 and so on.  It was not fun because you have to start over every time someone messes up, and we started over twice.   

Today was a normal day for me, and followed the everyday routine! I woke up and went to school, after going to the gym and finishing my requirements I went home. I've started to notice a difference in my strength and change in muscle tone! Since there was color belt testing there was no class today but I had lots of homework to make up for the time!

Testing went very well and barely anyone cried! :D  I got slot of stuff done between testings.  Hopefully tomorrow goes just as well. 

today was ok... at school during social studies i email my friends so i'm sort of a rebel but... it still fun!:)

today was fun, but i cant wait for tomorrow, we get to sleep in a little more because of our orthodontist appointment

What is it with Wednesdays- - -requirements in a different world today - - -no excuses I will do what I need to do to be able to take Friday off and enjoy the weekend. I will say it was an adventure tonight, grandma, white hairs, the fur balls, Pint and Fu Man Chu - -try to figure that one out.  

Another busy day. I spent my day at school in the morning, afternoon getting my physical requirements and homework completed and finished the night at church in Awana. I was able to recite 2 of my bible verses tonight. I have 2 more bible verses to get my Awana tshirt and 3 more until I can earn my lanyard. We get to sing songs, read the bible and play games. I really like going to Awana.

Today I helped out with testing at the LKN King Tiger location. It was lots of fun. Everybody I saw broke their board eventually! No Kiddies cried! :D

Looking forward to this weekend, PMAA seminar.But may be a little late getting in on Friday, my wife has to work a half day. The good thing is I got 3 days off from work and I can sleep in on Friday ,Saturday, and Sunday.

Hurt my back this morning and didn't get much done because of it. Plus we had color belt testing so, yeah, day was a bust as far as requirements go. But we did have an hour in between testings so I made the Lake Norman candidates do their stuff :) Gonna try and get to the chiropractor tomorrow!

today instead of going to TKD, mom insisted that we go to champions. (champions an activity that we sometimes do instead of swimming, like dry land)She said that since we have been missing so many practices, that we go to this. We worked pretty hard. My sister and I did 20 pull ups when we were outside waiting.

Tomorrow I have my mentee session. I hope to review a lot. Such as Wong ho one and basic form 3. Looking forward to it. :-)

Today I went to school and did my work for science, Spanish, and history. Then I went to tae kwon do and did my second day of white belt challenge and forgot my book again (this whole forgetting my black belt book is becoming a problem). Then I did a mentee session and we did poomsaes and self defense. After the TKD classes I did my history homework.

So I had a great idea, ok first wrong thought, my foot has been better so I needed to get things done, so I go to cross fit, run and teach class, so where do you think I went wrong, foot ache a bunch today and had to rest it, so yes you are right it was the idea back to the doctor Friday I have already been told by the doctor no beach training as I have to give the foot support and the sand will just aggregate it more, so have to work on other great ideas for the week

Today I got all of my requirements in and got a leadership credit. I got all of my poomses and self- defenses done between classes:) today was a good day. gtg to bed now

since all of the color belts testing at belmont we have exercise week and I was very sweaty when I came home. I finally got all my mentee sesions done today and im so excited!!!

Last night my family arrived in Durham. We came because my dad has to do a work trip in Durham and we decided to come up with him for a vacation. One of the problems is that we homeschool and we have school this week so my mom brought our school so it is not a complete vacation but still we do get to do some fun stuff and my dad does not have to work all day long. It was really late so i did not get much sleep but i hope i will have time to do some black belt cycle. We just got back from a museum called Marbles. We are right next to a lake so we brought fishing rods and little remote control motorboats. The only bad part is that only me and my brother can fish because we are not old enough to have to...

I love red stripe week. Enjoyed doing the afternoon class class today, had a great time do jump rope.

Sooo I did a back handspring today :/ One of the moms at our school had enough confidence in me for me to do a back handspring while she spotted me.   I was shocked that I was able to do it.   Other than that today I worked on getting kids ready for testing tomorrow.

today we practiced sticks... it was ok ;) well anyways i need to practice but, i just learned it last week sooo....

just did all of my physical requirements for today! yay now a good doze off with some meditation

Today was good. We learned Hapkido in black belt class. I did a session with my mentor, and got most of my requirements done. I need to got on those essays though. good Night

Today I did have my first mentee session with Rachel and it was awesome! :-) We worked on the sparing combonations and a little with kicking. To me it was extremely fun because after the mentee session she started showing her parents what she learnt. :'-) I look forward to my next one hopefully next week.

Great class last night!!!!! Yup my brain got a refresh on hapkido, since my mind went completely blank on Saturday, then we rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled some more. Dizzy lizzy was an understatement, by time I left everyone had two heads but positive side my shoulder was numb so could not feel it and think I was finally starting to get the hang of it. This tucking the leg is challenging for me. Tonight was a full house in the junior and last class- - very productive.

today at school was the living wax musem and we would dress up as someone that made a difference in our world and I was elizabeth cady stanton so it went the 6th graders would come and touch the sticker(button) on our hand and we would give a speech about our lives and what we were famous for and I was famous for ending the women suffrage and slave suffrage, It was awesome!!!! Also at black belt class today in belmont we worked on self defence and then we got to try and break bricks!!

Today was so fun. Our car is the Laugh-o-matic. We laughed so much, because my dad and I were cracking jokes left and right, north and south.

Today was a really busy day. I had school, piano lessons and then Tae Kwon Do (hyper pro class). I haven't been feeling well this week. My mom says its my allergies. I have been taking allergy medicine to make me feel better. I was really tired today. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Today at Tae Kwon Do class we practiced Bo Cho Dan Special and Knife self-defense.  We also practiced Basic Form 3. 

Today we drove my dad to the airport. We had to get up at 5:15. On the way there, I slept. Also I had my weekday TKD class.

my mom is asking sooo much from us. its so annoying!

Today Is My Long day At Tkd. I Have My Morning Homeschool Class And Three Night Classes.

Looking forward to the PMAA training at Myrtle Beach this weekend! Master Melegrito always does a terrific seminar. I've also been working on my handstand pushups a lot more frequently lately. Am now able to kick up onto the wall by myself, and getting at least halfway down and back up. Getting there!

Yesterday i did TONS of black belt cycle. I'm home schooled and my mom thought that it was important to get all caught up on the cycle so i rotated between black belt cycle and school work. It felt so rewarding to get so much done except i hardly got any school done. I now know what the key to the entire black belt cycle is the key has helped me so much with the black belt cycle. The key is, going and doing your requirements without complaining or putting them off just go and get them done. That has helped me so much because now my mom says, "Go do 100 push-ups" i don't complain "Aw, 100 push-ups?" or make up excuses so i can put it of. And it help pretty much for most things even cleaning your room. Just go do it and get it done with.

Headed to school. Ready to start a new day of learning at school and come home and do my requirements.

After school I was stuck in student driver traffic but went straight to planet fitness to workout to an extent today! I did more than I had to and made my class, I ran today for warmups, do some too :)

i had piano today and i'm happy i'm alive, and i had school today. i really like my science class with mr. blackman he manages to make us laugh in the beginning of the day and we do plenty of science experiments.

today I ran a mile and it felt a lot easier than the pre test :)

Today was good, I went to school and did a lot of work. After that I went to the park and I did my requirements while my sister Tori was in gymnastics. I have started a new book called Dune and it is really cool so far. After I did my requirements we went to earthfare and now I am going to bed.

Tomorrow I hope to have my first mentee session. I really do look forward to it, kind of want to see how it goes. Any way I need to ask for help on Wong ho 1 and special 3 but that's for my mentor. Which I might have tomorrow but I'm not too sure, but if we don't then I know I do on Thursday :-)

I went to school today and then completed my homework. Once I finished I completed my requirements for the day and then went to my brother’s soccer practice. Tonight was the first night of Cub Scouts. We had fun.

today i had piano. and school, and played on my ipad, my sister and changed our voices so we were really high and it sounded so cute, like a baby.It was pretty funny.

Today I went to boy scouts for the kick off. I had a lot of fun with all my friends.

Today I did my normal routine and got up very early to do my running and half my requirements before school. After school I went to taekwondo and took 3 classes. Today's classes were conditioning classes so I got a good workout tonight. I also got my last mentee session done which felt great to have another requirement completed. Now I just have the rest of my mentor sessions to get done. After class I did my homework, ate dinner, studied for my written test for a little bit then did some meditation. It has been a very busy day.

Today I learned new things. No fighting, no arguing in class. So, it was a good day!

School was cool today. Learned new things in math that I have NEVER heard before! But life is about learning new things and tha's how it is.

Yesterday we did not do much so i do not have much to write except i sold four precious moments on ebay. So i am getting started on the three hundred and fifty dollars i need to earn. And to help me out with the money my grand ma is going to have a garage sale at her to sell some of my old stuff.

Exciting my computer is coming back. It has been gone for two weeks.also,I have eaten my breakfast and ready for school.

Today is Monday. Today I have PE at school today. We are setting goals for ourselves. We run lap around the field every day before we start class. I am normally at the front of the pack of people. I like running with my friends. They makes it so I'm not bored when I am running and I get bored a lot when I run so this is good.

Happy dance, happy dance, happy dance!!! Thought I was going to be very sore this morning from yesterday's requirements, I was incorrect. Not to bad this morning, got my run done and some pushups & sit up's and now need to head off to work. Will hit it again after work along with BB class tonight. Hope everyone has a great day!!!

today we came home from UNC chapel hill for my big sister and it was fun. we walked everywhere, i got some miles in and we did more requirements at the hotel we were staying at. i did pushups and sit-ups in my big sisters dorm, hotel room, hotel parking lot, my room, my kitchen. we used car time (2 hours) as meditation time, but ended up falling asleep.

Took a really cool drover safety course this morning.   I was drifting and driving a fast BMW.  After that I went home and did some requirements.

Very productive day on the home front and with requirements. The errands that had to be run knocked out some time I needed with requirements but I am happy with what I accomplished. I have a feeling my body will not like me in the morning. Night all I am tired!!!! Go Panthers - - - -

Today my sister in law and I went to a outdoor workout park and went through it. It was my first time going to one. It was super fun and we plan on doing it again.

Right leg was a little sore this morning, but by midday the right leg is feeling better and the body was feeling good. Looking forward to next weekend PMAA on the beach.

Yesterday I had my first hyper pro class. :-) I then took a black belt class and a sparing class. I also got a leadership 2 credit for doing warm ups. We went over how we are going to do our self defenses; yellow through high red belt number one then in the same order we will do number 2 and so on. I also found out that I need someone to attack me for self defenses at testing. But now I am looking forward to my first mentee session. :-)

I had to take another rest as I got a doctor to look at the foot and he did some magic and used some meds to get it back into shape but I had rest it as much as possible. I have another injection on Friday so the doctor said I would be ready to go . I did some work on push ups and sit ups but no jump rope or burpees.

today was my grandpas birthday and also my favorite teams football game. we had a party for him and watched the game. today was a good day.

i just came back from UNC, less than an hour ago. In the car i didn't feel like playing on my ipad, same with my sister, so for an hour we did meditation time. The car drive was 2 hours so.....pretty good. when we came back, Jacqueline face timed my sister and we talked for a while........i also got so many emails at the same time, because at UNC we couldn't get on to the internet or wifi, and in the car their was no wifi or internet.I guess time for homework....................

Today I just got home from a sleep over and I still got a lot of my requirements done. Also today is my dads birthday.

Today wasn't much of a busy day. Today we were just resting because yesterday we had this big celebration and I had to do some volunteer work there. I did do a lot of black belt stuff over the weekday though!!!!

Today I went to the park with my family to do my running. While we were there we ran into our neighbors and talked to them for a while. Then we went to target to get some stuff for school this week. And now we are about to go swimming. Yay!

Today my Grandmother came over and I was not expecting it.  Usually, every Sunday we bring her to church, but this week we did not, so she decided to stay a little longer.

Today was tough. We were at UNC for my older sister Heloise. We walked EVERYWHERE. I got a few more miles in. Now we are in a hotel, I still managed to do a few push ups and sit-ups.
