me and my cousins had a push up challenge, one of my cousin said they were "cute for some girls ones", I looked at him like he was nuts. I may not be the best at push-ups but i've pretty good form. Any who he showed me his and his butt was so up in the air. Lol wow, and he going to talk bout my push ups. My other cousin, she does track and basketball, she has great push ups.
Today after school my bus was late so I didn't get home till around 5:30 at night so I couldn't go to baseball and we have a project due tomorrow
Good productive day on the tkd front and ready for all requirements to be finished then can focus on fine tuning all else.
This is a Youtube show starring Rhett and Link. Some of you may know them. They do all types of things like songs, current events, if things will be good with other things, and how things miserably fail. I like that they are really funny but they are often serious as well. One time they were serious that the world's largest popsicle started melting right after they got it to a 45 degree angle. That was serious because it was so hot that day they had to bring it out in a huge icy container but the heat started seeping in through the cracks and melted it. They've done lots of cool stuff including bathing in cereal. They had to eat their way out with giant spoons, and this happened to be Link's lifetime wish. He was very happy about the whole thing. I definitely recommend you should watch them.
Today I had school then went to black belt class. There we practiced poomsaes and self-defenses. After that I went to the back and did some more requirements until my mom picked me up while I was watching my dad's combative class. Overall everything was normal and no new things going on today.
My day was decent. I started of going to school. We did normal things. Then, I went home and with the time i had, i did some requirements. Then i went to help the family class. After that, I did black belt class. I had a usual Thursday!

Today was a good day let me tell you what I did. the day was along and a tiring one too. School was good because we got to buy some books from the Book Fair. This is the time of year that kids from the mooresville disirict sell books from scholastic. I got a lot of books, they are soooo good. And now I am watching class. So see you tomorrow.

Today i went to school and we worked on a crazy math term called the ''Pythagorean theorem''. The word itself was hard to pronounce, it was even harder to do the math. But were using it for a building from the renaissance time period and will make it not life size, but to our measurements. So that was my day.
Today I had to present my Powerpoint for a book my class read. The teacher said I did a good job and I got an A. In International Studies we had s guest speaker from Columbia (country) who Skyped with us on immigration is Spain. She had down her Bachelors done in Spain and was a teacher in the USA, who taught English to illegal immigrants. Since my class is learning about immigration in class, she talked about immigration in Spain. Today I also had my MAP test for math.

I have a dinner tomorrow night at Panthers ' Stadium for Ricky Proehl's foundation. We should get a nice dinner, meet a few players, and help raise money for charity. Looking forward to it.
I finished my push ups today, yay!! At school we had a pep rally, it was pretty cool, we had alot to cheer about. After school I didn't feel so good so I didn't get to make it to taekwondo.
Today I worked with my mentee, Gregory. We practiced sparring combinations and hook round house kicks. We went through 1-14 of his sparring combos and helped him on his kicking technique for hook round house kicks. Overall he did very well and can't wait to finish my sessions with him.
Started with a great class this morning with the other masters. Worked on Hapkido forms 1-4, which I had down! Worked a bit on Pal Gwe forms (out of order) which was a challenge, but got them figured out. Also got a chance to work on black belt forms as well as different self defenses.

So for Halloween I'm going to be Robin Hood. But not what you think. I'm actually going to be Robin, from Batman and Robin, with a hood. In the comics, his actual name is Damian Wayne. There have been lots of Robins. Dick Grayson was the first Robin then he became Nightwing. Then Jason Todd became Robin and in the comics the fans voted he should die so the Joker killed him. But he wasn't really dead and is now the Red Hood. Damian Wayne is supposed to be Bruce Wayne's son so it makes sense that he would be Robin. I will be Robin and my friend will be Batman and his little sister will be Batgirl.
Today I did all of my daily requirements and went to school. We had a short day today so I am really happy. After I do all of my homework I will go to Tae Kwon Do and help the class today. I had a fun day today.
Another day of confirmation that I'm really getting a handle on my material. Worked out with Master Evins and the other school owners to go over self defense/hapkido material. I knew most of it without hesitation. Three more weeks!

Great BB Class tonight. We covered a lot of material. I actually went through bo staff 2 with only one mistake... yeah ! ... hapkido 11-20.. at class, well I had them.. we make up names to remember them. on the way home I was trying to run them all through my mind to help imbed them .. uuugh! my memory or lack there of amazes me!!! Everything seems to be a struggle right now. There is SO much on my plate and my personal battles are wearing on me. I'm happy though, every day I get up and actually out of bed... well that is a good day! Thank you Master Shin for all of your patience and help!
I just hope tomorrow gets better. Construction progress at house - - -ugh- - no Cypress trees at Lowes that would fit in my car- - then off to the dojang. Happy with the requirements accomplished today and was able to meet with my mentee. Helped in junior class then Jerome and I tried to work on our creative form, that will be a work in progress.
Today I took a really big test at school and I think that I blew it out of the water. At TKD I learned a lot because some of the stuff u kind of know but u don't know it just enough to question yourself and I don't have that problem anymore.
Today in science class, my class got back their Unit Test papers back. We went over it and on one of the questions answer was different from what we the had teacher had given us in our notes. So our teacher said she would give us the point back if we had gotten the answer that we had put in our notebooks. Then, a girl in my class said how the answer that we all thought was wrong. People got mad at her, but the teacher said that she would give us credit for both answers. Luckily, we didn't have MAP Testing today, but we have it tomorrow.
Boy, I really need to practice my black belt self defense- 1st Dan through 3rd Dan. I lost my mind tonight and totally went blank working with Master Randle. At least I know what I need to focus on other than my creative form. Ankle is still hurting and tender. I'm going to be very cautious for the next few weeks. No more injuries.
During black belt class I helped out with the warm-ups for my leadership 2. I think it's fun getting to be loud and leading the class in a specific activity. I lead all the warm-up parts and smiled when I finished. Before I used to be nervous but now I enjoy doing it and feel more relaxed.
Today I did do all of my daily requirements and went to school today. After that I ate snack and went to my homework. And then I trained with my mentee for 20 mins and then went to Tae Kwon Do for a mentor session. I had a fun day today.

At school today we had to wear our favorite team for any sport. I helped two classes and took one class today at taekwondo, I got alot of progress on what I need to know for the over night testing.
In one of my classes we learned that the word September comes from the greek word Sept which means sixth. The funny thing is that September is actually the ninth month in the year. Also Oct means eight but October is the tenth month. Did you know that two months were added in the middle of the year? July and August were added by Julius and Caesar Augustus . Just thought you should know.

Got another mentor and mentee session in today! With Master Cavazos I worked on Hapkido 1-32, and also Pal Gwe Oh Jang. With my mentees, we worked on poomsaes, and staff form 1. Our King Tiger Hopebuilders team is getting bigger! That's great! We can still use more people though, of course!

I did a genius project, which was about warheads. I brought a lot of warheads to school and everyone wanted one. It was soooo annoying.my tongue hurts from eating so many. I was going to go swimming, but than a person for the water filter came and we couldn't go. So we ran and biked some. It was nice out. Good night!
Tomorrow at school all students in CMS get a half day so we get to go home early. Also tonight I get to watch the Yankees take on the Astros in a one game playoff.
today was a pretty good day I went to school and did all my school work then I went to to and did my homework after that I went to get dressed but my aunt hadn't brought by my uniform yet so I waited for a while then I just had to barrow a uniform. Then in the middle of class she brought my uniform and u just hurried and got my belt on. After that class I got dressed because I already finished all of the credits for the next classes but I will still go once in a while. When I got home my sister and I made dinner for the family and my grandma it was really good we made eggs, bacon, biscuits, hash browns, and my grandma made really good cenamen biscuits then we played Mexican dominos u won the last round and that was my day
My class was supposed to have a vocab quiz in ELA, but we ended up not having one. I also had MAP Testing today on Reading and Vocab. I got a good grade too. My Spanish teacher gave everyone an essay to do on illegal immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America, and it is due tomorrow. I also have a project due tomorrow for Spanish. I got my shrub today. It was smaller than i expected it to be. I forgot what the name is though. I have to water it once every week.
Got a chance to have dinner with my grandparents this evening! They are heading back down to Florida from New York. It was their first time seeing my new house, so it was fun to play tour guide. Not like its that big, but still fun. Psyched about doing the 5K this weekend! Plus, it is going to a great cause...
On Saturday I took the physical and written test for the black belt cycle. On the physical part, I did four pull-ups which is really big for me. It took me 8 minutes and 25 seconds to run my mile. My best is 7 minutes and 42 seconds. I had to do push-ups, sit-ups, and burpees as well. On the written test I got a grade over 100. I got 104% because of the 6 bonus questions. I am happy that I got that grade because only one person got higher than me. It was one of the second or third degrees. I am excited about the last few weeks of the cycle.
Had a great day today and happy with my tkd progress, however Jerome "lets do more rolls & falls" NO- -- my body can only take so much in one night. As someone made comment tonight I am competitive - -yes a little- -but more so I like a good challenge. Hello peeps I am a lot older and that body does not react quite the same as the younger vintages. Looking forward to a good week!!!

This week is spirit week, today we had to dress country style. At taekwondo for red and up class we worked on Bolo form, Bo-staff and poomsaes. I also helped for one class, had lots of fun.
Today was a good day, let me tell you what happened. Today we had a sub because me teacher had a workshop. When I got to school we did Reading and did research on what ever we wanted. I did my research on blackholes. Did you know that blackholes are so strong that anything that is near has to orbit it. After that we did Math. Then we had art and had lunch. After that we did Math and social studies after recess. Now i am watching NBA Miami heat finals 2013. I also found out that I passed the written test of my black belt cycle, I'm so happy! Ahhh the weekend was soo exiting i forgot to do journal entries!woops! okay, so we got to TKD at 7 something, did the pretest early so i could go to the bat mitsvah. The Bat Mitzvah was so fun. First, Rachel and Taylor read from the Torah in Hebrew. After that, we went to the Pearl, and had so much fun dancing, eating and talking. We were dancing so much and having soooo much fun. My sister and i danced to the YMCA and we were laughing sooo hard. We asked the DJ to play it again. We than took plenty of pictures and did a joke about 'keeping up with the Kardashians' but instead 'keeping up with the Bat Mitsvahs' I had so much fun. I hope you had a great weekend too!

Yesterday was a tough day.. so glad I passed the written test. I have a tendency to panic on written tests, (yes I know where my son gets his anxieties). I was exhausted after the physical and a BB class. I seem to always be running on little fuel. So glad to still be standing. All the essays are done, I have my tree.. a few more things down. After all the work in the AM, I had to also work late yesterday evening and that went way into the wee hours. It turned out to be a LONG day. A nice start today however, I got to spend a few hours with the grand baby, and the Panthers won, again! Outside that, today has been tough, I'm extremely tired. One more step forward though. Hanging in there. I have got to figure out a way to get my jump ropes...
Today was A great sunday with friends. We had a great church sermon, Panthers won the football game today and to finish off celebrating a great friends birthday.

Today, i went out for lunch with my friend. Then we got to play together until my mom came. Then, we went for a run. I was not very happy that now i have to go to school.
Today I measured my plant and It was 12.5 inches high!!! It says that the plant is supposed to be up to like as tall as me and if not taller. So that's the big deal about today.
Today my family went shopping. I woke up around 9 am and immediately brushed my teeth and took a shower. My parents first went to Costco so they could get some clothes for school and for groceries. We didn't any clothes for school so my parents went to Target, but still didn't find any clothes for me. We were going to go to Old Navy to find clothes, but my mom said that she would buy it online. Coming home my family watched the Panthers game and they won 37-23. Tomorrow I have school and I also have a vocab quiz.
Tonight I was playing TF2 and I was one of the best players on the team. TF2 is Team Fortress 2 and is a first person shooter with 9 different classes with 3 different people in each of three sections, offense, defense, and support. On Offense is the Scout, the Soldier, and the Pyro. Defense is the Heavy, the Demoman, and the Engineer. Support guys are the Medic, Sniper, and Spy. I was playing as the Demoman and right when I was playing it I was playing as the Sniper. Sniper, Scout, and Demoman are my favorite classes. I like Sniper because they're are a ton of different weapons and you start out with a regular sniper rifle. As you get better you'll earn items like the Cindy Sleeper, the Hitman's Heat Maker, and my favorite, the Awper Hand and the Festive Huntsman...a bow and arrow. As Demoman my favorite loadout...
Today was like a regular Sunday. We went to church, had brunch, watched the Panthers play against Tampa Bay. We also picked up my shrub.
Today at church we talked about how God's creations are amazing and how he always planned for us to be on this planet. We also read a few verses from the Bible that talk about how amazing God's creations are. My teacher also said that God is so powerful that all he did was speak and everything appeared. I think that what he did was amazing because none of us can do what he did, we have to use our hands and work instead of speaking. I can't wait to hear more next week.
Today I am watching football at 9:30 in the morning and I may be watching it till 11:30 at night. I am tired still and a little in pain from that physical test yesterday morning.

What a day!!! Ok with my results today but just ok, I should have done better. After classes got home and had to lay down for a bit. I was feeling ok this morning but after the run it hit me- - no- - no - -no I am not going to get sick, been fighting it all week. After I got up it was whirl wind trying to get rid of the sheetrock dust - -luckily one room is back to order now just hummmm a bunch more to go. Will need to run some errands tomorrow, also get my tree, then maybe I can split some time between requirements and the domestics.

Whow got my physical done, finish my essays, when to my teams dance clinic, really fun day. My coach wanted mt to watch her daughter at the clinic, but she didn't want to dance, she would look at me dance and see every other little girl around her dance. she would just walk way, and lay down. At the end i just sat with her and watched the others dance. When the older girls dance to a hip hop they had turn and shake their hips, and the coach's daughter turn to me and say "I see the bootie" It was so cute

Then we did push-ups, she put her fist under my stomach and I would have to make my stomach touch for the push-up to count. I got 42 push-ups, after that she did her push-ups and got 50. Next was sit ups, I got 35 and she got 45. Next I did my 1 mile run and my time was 9:03. Finally we did our written test and was done.

I passed my physical test to so also yay me!!!After the test and after the classes i went to lowes to get my shrub. The shrub has gold tips so it will remind me that the plants are priceless!!!

I had a mentee session today so I practiced with my mentee for 15 minutes. I later found out that I passed the written test with a score of 102. I was so happy that I passed on my first try. To celebrate we are now going to eat pizza for dinner. I had a fun day today.

Can't wait to finish all my requirements, it will give me time to focus on the new corrections in the poom saes and all the events coming up soon like the 5k, black belt retreat and the Aau tornament.

I also got a 99 on my written exam, so psyched about that too! I am going to pick up my fruit tree today, I just need to decide if I want to do an apple tree or pear tree...

Today was filled with victory and sweat. Got up at 6:30 this morning, ate breakfast, got to Master Evins at about 8:30. We did our physical tests then ran our mile. Then I finished my written test and score a 103%. Then after our weekend black belt class I finished off the afternoon with a great lunch at Jimmy Johns.
I gave my all today at the final physical test. I think I improved on everything. The time on my four miles was 41:17, much better than last time of 49:09. The first time I ran it, I did it very cautiously. The second time, I tried to get it under 40 minutes, but couldn't. We have the retreat in a couple of weeks and then the test!

Then went to the bus stop and my friend was finally late because he usually gets to the bus stop right when the bus comes but his mom ended up taking him. I'm still nervous about tomorrow though. Kept dinner to a simple soup tonight so hoping for an easy AM. Today was great first off because it was Friday, we had our annual Barbeque fundraiser for the school. With our fundraiser going on we helped all day with packing the food and having a great time with friends.
Today me and my dad had lunch at Chik-fil-A. After we ate, I wanted to go into the kids area because I still like it a little. I was just under the height I had to be to go in. When I went in there were a lot of toddlers who couldn't get up the big steps to the slide. So I decided I was going to help. I helped out at least 6 different kids get from the bottom to the top. I also helped them get to other places that had big steps. I was so busy helping that I didn't get to do what I wanted to because I was just going around getting them to where they wanted. I put others before myself and enjoyed doing it.
Got my grade back for my hand drawing, we had to drawn hands gesture, I put a theme to my portrait. And I lived happily ever after with a 98
Had a great lesson with Master Chin this afternoon - -now lets see how much sticks. Decided to come home afterwards to work on requirements & study to find we had no power. Yup one of the big tree's that went kaboom was our neighborhood. At that point I said it was a sign - -got fur ball and went for a pedicure - -she loves going - -it's that vibrating chair - -then stopped for take out sushi. She likes sushi also- - mama does not get any of the steak on the steak taki roll. Luckily by the time I fought thru traffic, got home, power was restored. Not going to be time for added requirements - -but that is ok- - time to study some more. Want to get everything laid out for tomorrow just in case we loose power again. Little concerned - -our house sits on...
