Today when I go up I thought that I over slept for school and started getting parinod. After about thirty minutes I checked the calender, and remembered I didn't have school today. After that I did my requirements. After that I went back to doing my papers I got done with most of them but I still have some to do for school. Well got to go bye. Hey did any one get the Finding nemo reference. 9/3/18
Oh by the way, last night was awesome seeing the Lion King. Today is the day I start back volunteering at my church in the children's ministry. I love doing this and I got a new age group this year. Last year I did the toddler room and that was a lot of fun. This year I am helping in the preschool room and while it was busy this morning it was good to be back. I get a lot of joy being with the kids. I also worked hard on my tae kwon do activities because I am trying to help make up for not being able to do quite as much last week because of school.
This weekend was AMAZING! I went to my friend's house on Saturday because she was throwing a lake party. All of my friends were there and we went on the jetskis and boats. My boyfriend also came and we had a blast! I slept over and ended up coming home today. The same people came over today again too. Gavin, Joe and I went out on the jetski and I drove for a little bit. Gavin is a really fun driver. He would drive over a boat's wake and we got so much air. My legs are really sore though from bracing myself.
Today was kind of on the stressful side because for the mandatory trip my high school is going on this week, they decided to make a change in the dress code only last Thursday concerning the length of the shorts that we can wear. Before it just had to be modest, but now shorts have to be mid-thigh length. Yes, I know this is kinda random, but the change feels arbitrary since what it was before was just fine, and my dad and I spent a good portion of the day trying to find shorts that fit this new dress code, and none of the stores sold anything that fit it since the shorts also can't have any rips or tears in them of any kind. Today I also got a lot of work done on essays; now I only have to do the white belt challenge, community service, and new...
Today was a good day to do some extra requirements. I finished my requirements early in the day, so I decided to do more as the day passed. I am making progress in the amount of burpees and pullups I can do at once, but I still need to continue training. I ought to continue doing cycle requirements after the cycle so that I don't regress again.
Tomorrow morning I leave for a school trip and won't be back until Friday afternoon, so this morning I did laundry, cleaned my room, and packed. There is no cell service or internet at camp, so I will not be able to log anything on the website until I get back.
Today was pretty relaxing aside from doing my requirements. I just hung out with my family and finished up my homework so I’m ready to goto school tomorrow.
Today when I woke up, I went to go run so I can go when it it not hot. Then when I got back, I put up my training video and finished the rest of my requirements. Then we started to do a little bit of cleaning around the yard and in the garage. After we finished that, we changed to go to the pool. This will probably be our last day to go to the pool because this upcoming weekend, is pretty full, so I won't have that much time to go.
I don't have much time to write later so I'm doing it now. I woke up and did my requirments. After that I took a nap and forgot I had a few papers to do today. Now I'm a bit short on time. Hey got to go bye.

Today I got up and ran 4.4 miles. Then I came back, ate breakfast, cleaned up my room, took a shower, and started working on homework. After eating lunch, my parents and I went to Wal-Mart to find some bed sheets and blankets for my new bed. Unfortunately, we didn’t decide on anything, but that’s ok. When we came back, I started on homework again. I took a break after a couple of hours to get my requirements in. I’m really glad that I still have one day in the weekend because I have so much homework!
this past weekend we had guests in our house. they are our really close friends. they live in Atlanta, Georgia. they came to North Carolina because they have to go to a weeding in Raleigh. they came on Thursday night and left yesterday afternoon. they are going to come back on Monday after their wedding. when they were here we had a lot of fun. they are a family with a 8 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. they are really nice people.
Today I came back from my grandmas house. When I got home I played with my dog Nimbus and jumped on the trampoline in the rain. I also workedn on my black belt requirements. I am glad there is no school tomorrow.
Still having sign in probs. Maybe I can parlay this into a new computer. Had family over for dinner. I love grilling. Baby back ribs, corn on the cob, country style baked beans and coleslaw. I ate WAY TOO much but it was so good. The boys seem to be enjoying school so far.
Today was pretty boring I just did my requirements in the morning. I still worked on homework even though it’s a long weekend I still have tons of homework
I did speech for my empathy training last week. It got me to appreciate those who don't have or lost that sense. That being said I decided to spend a few hours without sight. Wow. Given the choice I would rather have my sight. Of course I was able to get by but BORING and can't drive. I didn't dare try cooking. It may be our most important sense.
I hit the 9 month mark on the 1st. Seems so close and so far. My body is having a down day today. I feel very tired but pressing on with the BB. Worked on Poomsaes and self defense with the boys in the home Dojang. I couldn't get Katherine to join us but she is busy taking some courses.
Today I woke up and did mainly push-ups and sit-ups. I did this because we don't do as many of those as we do poomsaes, self-defense, and basic kicks. Then when I finished, we ate breakfast and got ready to go to Carowinds. This is the last time that we will go to the water park this year, so we made sure to do as much as possible. We go Fast Passes so we got to skip some of the lines, which helped so that we didn't have to stand in all of the long lines.
Today is great we have a three day weekend and I got to watch a movie. Also I got to go to sports connection but it was pretty boring. I need to go eat so Bye.
Yesterday at my house there were guests. They are our really close friends. They came on Friday and they left o9n Saturday.all we did with them is han
Finally back to my normal wakeup. I had late breakfast and then to my surprise an all day visit with my Greatgrand daughter! I didn't do too much of anything else today! Not even any requirements.
I actually forgot what day of the week it was because all the days seem to be the same. It has been hard this week getting back in the routine for school. Get up early, go to school, head to the Tae Kwon Do, get home, eat, do homework and it is bed time again. Looking forward to the long weekend.
Okay so today I’ve got a lot of work to do. Mainly in regards to homework I have a lot of paper work a few essays for school, and Tae Kwon do. So my mornings been hectic. Hey got to go bye. Hey did any one get the movie reference in the title? 9/1/18
Other than it is Saturday today has been a great day. Got up this morning and did some TKD work, went and had breakfast at Maple Street Biscuit, completed some more TKD items including some essays. But the most exciting part of the day is that I am heading to eat a nice dinner in charlotte and going to see Lion King in theater. I am a huge Disney person and I am so excited to be going.
Today I helped my dad with housework, so I barely had time (except in the afternoon) to do my requirements. I forgot to run today, so I'll run extra tomorrow morning.
Today was pretty relaxed. I got my requirements done and worked on essays. Due to there not being class, I was able to sleep in on a Saturday for the first time in months, which I really needed after the busy week of school that I had. Other than that nothing particularly interesting happened.
Finally I was able to sleep in for one day cause I was really sick of waking up early for school. Although its going to be a long weekend I still have a lot of homework to do.
Today the North Charlotte Location was closed for Labor Day so I couldn't go to black belt or sparring class. This coming week, I only have one match, which helps, because then I can go to black belt class and get some of my other requirements done. Today was not really eventful, but I did get to relax a little bit. Tomorrow I am going to put up my training video. Testing is getting closer everyday, but I am pushing through.
Today will be my last morning having to get out of bed so early. I'll break out into a happy dance! I am so grateful for the credits received from Grandmaster Evins ,for the two Saturdays, on assisting and 5k. Once again sir a big thanks for Dr Schuster! Time to do some requirements now!!
Today my carpool didn’t come with us in afternoon carpool and it was his parent’s turn so I didn’t know when his mom was coming. His mom had to go through the middle school carpool line and then could come to our carpool because the middle school kids are not supposed to walk over. By the time she came and go us, it was 3:45 and our school gets out at 2:45, that’s and entire hour! luckily I am only in carpool on Friday’s because of tennis.
Today at school there was a fire drill it wasn't to big of a deal, but with how slow everyone moved I though that if it was real we would all....not have a fun day. Another evetful thing that happened today was I did my empathy training. I went with out an arm. Its been years sence I couldn't you one of my arms, and I started to get parinod about it. I tryed to do some pull ups but that end misurably. Well I had an eventful day how was yours? 8/31/18
I'm getting this done right before we leave to go to my grand parents. It's only me and my mom since my dad has to work and my brother has a friends birthday party on Saturday. Since they have to stay home I'm kind of bummed out and am reluctant on going. However my parents are both saying I'll have fun. My uncle is there as well so that's a plus. I'll get back to you later and tell you how the trip went.
today was a very awesome day because I went to school and my teacher let us draw pictures.after recess I went to my math class and had lots of fun.then I went to tae kwon do and helped class and did class.
Even though I had a lot of things due today, it was actually a pretty calm day. This is in part because we will be gone on a mandatory trip from this coming Tuesday and we get back on Friday afternoon. It felt really weird to not have a lot of book to bring home for homework. With there being no class tomorrow due to it being Labor Day weekend, I am kind of excited to be able to sleep in on a Saturday for the first time in months, especially after the long day I had yesterday.
On Friday my family is going to my grandparents house at lake Gaston. I didn't know until yesterday that we were going. However my brother is getting cold feet and not wanting to go. That makes me upset since he takes my on jet ski rides and this will be the last time we get to swim there for the year. My mom wants us to decide soon so they can invite other people. I can't decide if I want to go or not since I like seeing my grandmother but I want to just hang out at home and with my friends.
On Mondays, I have the second smallest amount of classes, beaten only by Fridays. I also do not go to King Tiger on Mondays. Because of this, I am capable of doing a large amount of homework and studying on Mondays. The cycle is not the only important thing I am doing, and I'll need to balance doing work for both.
I went to school this morning, like always. After school, my friend and I went to my boyfriend's soccer game. They called it because it started lightning. He came back to my house with us both. Before that, we got dinner at Panda Express, which I love. Tomorrow, I'm going to my friend's lake party, from 2 to 6. It's just a few people from school coming for Memorial Weekend. I'm so excited.
Today was my second day of school and it was pretty boring all we did was go over rules and do introduce me papers. The best part was playing basketball at recess and beating the undefeated team that was only the tall kids were on. It was so unfair actually, since there all at least 4-5 inches taller than the tallest kid on our team. But since I got a rebound they didn't expect I passed and a kid on our team made the shot. And that had taken about 7 minutes, so right after they go off they went "OK, you got five minutes of your both off," and everyone on the court basically yelled no at the same time them we all told the that the other game had taken like 8 minutes. So decide if they couldn't keep track of time or if they just wanted to play...
Finally its the weekend although I still have a ton of homework to do. I've missed some journals this week because I was focused on starting in school,.
Ok, so I love art and all, but my art teacher is starting to make art kind of stressful for me. During class we have to work on big projects, and outside of class we have to work on sketchbook assignments, which is fine, but each week we are given a list of 5 topics that we have to sketch and we pick 4 of them to draw. My teacher then collects our sketchbooks every 2 weeks; my art teacher is expecting both quality and quantity from these sketches as they are supposed to be good quality, have accurate perspective/lighting, must fill the page, and must appear to have taken 40min or more to complete. Everyone in my art class has been working really hard on these to make them look good, and here we are stressed because there are just too many assignments due in such a short amount of...
Fourth day of school and it's getting stressful already. I have to sort out a major change in my schedule, and I have two tests tomorrow. Well, one is a vocab quiz, but the other is a unit test for the material from the summer project for AP US History. Luckily, I have Labor Day Weekend to catch up on anything and everything I'm missing, so that's good. I'm trying my best, and school hasn't overwhelmed me yet, so I'm still afloat. Working on my requirements, knocking them out of the way, and this time, I'm not going to let them get in the way of school...
At shcool I started to notice that the main stairs got to crowded. At lunch I was thinking about it as I tried to find a quite corner to be alone. I decided to go to the calmest corner behind a teacher next to a door. The teacher was new and told me about some stairs he used to get to his room on the second floor before the main hallway fluded. When I tried to see if it was true I checked my map and a stairwell was right next to my next two block. I got to them quicker and I'm thankful for it. After school I went to tae kwon do. Well bye. 8/30/18
Just not my day today. CNC machine went down before ending work shift. Struggling to find new mentee. First denial in a long time. Yes I was late. But wow it just was shocking. Debating now if my investment is even worth it anymore. Is it even worth all my sacrifices. Idk. Maybe maybe not.
Today we won our last game of the week. During my doubles match, we kept going to Deuce which means that we would win one point, and the other team would win the other. I’m sad that I couldn’t go to Black Belt, but I am still keeping up with the cycle.
I had a very good breakfast this morning, whole wheat English muffin, eggs and sausage along with a mug of coffee. This early morning continues to haunt me, difficult to think. I will push myself to get some requirements in today! My shoulder continues to strengthen having better movements and more power.
The pretest took place today during black belt class. I did well in some areas; namely pushups and situps. However, I need to work on my v-situps and burpees. I need to be able to do more of them in a shorter period of time. Thankfully, I now know that I need to work on these two things.
Today was very busy. I went to school and had to go straight to tae keon do. I then went to soccer and got home. It took me 20 minutes to do my homework which is about 2 hours less than normally (just kidding) but now I am super tired so I am going to bed.
I got plenty of sleep last night, but I was still exhausted walking into school this morning. This year, our school is having a homecoming dance. The previous years, it was only a homecoming game, which I will be cheering at. My friends and I are thinking about going, but only if my boyfriend is okay with us all going together. I have never gone to a school dance. I was never the type of person to do that, but it's supposed to be at a really fancy place, so I might go this once.
today was a fun day we played basketball in study hall. We played knockout which was really fun i got second. I had a history test which was really easy and a math test which was ok. After school my brother had a soccer game and his team won. After some more time i went to king tiger. We played jeopardy and i took sparring which is always fun.; today wasa fun day.
Today I assisted and attended in the 5:30 class and it was fun. This jeopardy was different because we had to noodle fight to answer the question, it was fun. I’m about to go run right now. I hope everyone had th best day ever!!!!
OK today at sparring my brother had a problem. So when he was sparring someone, he continued to keep kicking to the head. My brother at the end of the match had a headache after. My brother is under 10 and is not allowed to get kicked in the head. Also how many times he got kicked was a lot. It was like 5 times, I can not remember. Either way I feel that if you know that the other person is not as good as you then you should take it at least a little easy. I really do not have words. As a black belt I should of stopped the fight but I was too caught up to see what was going on. Even if it wasn't my brother if it was another kid I should be aware and make sure that every is sparring safely. See you tomorrow.
today was a pretty good. All my classes went well.i had to call my mom because i forgot my lunch at home. My mom was kind of mad. Closer to they end of the day me and my friends played uno at study hall. It was not a normal game of uno, our uno game we got so pumped up. Whenever someone put down a card, everyone stared to scream. It was amazing. A few teachers got mad at us, but that didn’t stop us. Later today i went to my brothers football practice. Then after that we went too dinner.
Waited at the bus stop with the boys for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Decided I should probably drive them when middle schooler's, who leave 1 hour later, arrived. Hope they tighten up soon. Got a lot of BB physical requirements in today. Tried to get ahead of the game on my days off so that I might be able to lighten the load towards the end. My body just feels so tired at times. Do to the load, there is no recovery time. But I am still so excited about the cycle. I love this stuff.
Glad the week is half way over because it has been a long week already. The only good news is that the homework has been lite this week but that will be picking up next week. Attended 2 TKD classes today to help get leadership credit and also the White Belt Challenge piece. Looking forward to sparring class tomorrow.
Today I finally finished all of my leadership credits. I am glad I got those done because that frees up a little time to get homework done since school is getting to be quite busy and/or work on essays for the cycle. Another reason why I am glad to be done with leadership credits is that now others can get those credits because I was starting to feel bad for constantly asking to do warmups because even though I knew I needed to get them done, I was starting to feel like I should let others catch up on their leadership credits, and now others can catch up on those credits. Overall today was a good day and I hope to have another one like it tomorrow.
This is a difficult week for me having to abandon my bed very early in morning. The price you pay for having work done on your house! I guess I can get some requirements in today. My body also realizes it hasn't done a normal workout until BB class last night.
Today I was supposed to have health class but the coaches weren't prepared for it yet. So they had us run 4 laps around the track. Will on the run I was with this group and we got done before the other. Will on the run I even found a penny. Well I have to go bye. 8/29/18
Whole family came to class tonight. They had a blast. Took them out for dinner after class. Hadn’t had family time like this in months.
Yesterday was my best friend's birthday!!! I went to the doctor yesterday because my throat has been bothering me for a while now. It turns out I have a throat virus so there's no antibiotics I can take to make it go away faster. It really hurts, but I'll be okay. My toes are getting better and I don't have dance or cheer this week, so it's a good break for me to ice them. I'm also getting ahead with a lot of my school work.
So one of the things I am trying as a new skill is running cross country. So I am not a runner but one of my best friends like to run. I thought I would give it a try and see if it is something I would like. Today we had our first event and while I did not do extremely well I was proud I finished. I have only be running mainly 1.5 - 2 miles when I run and today for the event it was 3 miles so I struggled because I am not sued to running that far. I am sure as I go through this I will become better. Between School, XC and TKD classes I am not getting much done on some of my Black Belt items during the first 2 days of school. I hope this improves and I find ways to get it all...
I love days off. Wish there were more of them. I can get the BB physical requirements in at a more relaxed pace. I got the boys off to school. They rode their scooters while I walked to the bus stop. They love it. I wish I had a scooter to keep up. Bus was 20 minutes late. Hopefully they will be on schedule in the mornings and afternoons soon. Swim lessons again for the boys after I pick them up. I get to cook tonight. I think I'll try a pasta carbonara. I LOVE TO COOK!
Today has been great so far. I got a full nights rest and school was good,. I have good grades. Plus soccer was fun. It only rained a little well that’s all I have homework to get done.
Today I had my first cross country meet at Westminster Catawba Christian School in South Carolina. I honestly don't know I made it in time to take black belt class tonight, though it was with only a couple minutes to spare, and it really stresses me out quite a lot to be running that late. I also got the email about extra credit for attending the King Tiger 5k and helping at Ms Wendy's House, which I did both so I just logged the credits today, which I'm hoping is what I was supposed to have done. After the busy day I had today with also having tests and quizzes today and studying for some tomorrow, I am completely exhausted and I hope I will be able to focus on what I need to tomorrow.
I missed a journal for a few days becuase I have been so busy I have gotten home a passed out in my bed. Wow never knew I could be so busy but I love it I am so happy. Well need to go to sleep I am so tired.
It was great waking up in my own bed. I slept very well. I also paid a visit to Dr. Schuster and my shoulder continues to improve. Strength isn't where I need it to be but I 'll gladly accept my condition! Miss everyone, be glad to get in class.
today was a good day because I went to school and played with my friends.then I went to tae kwon do and did class.after that I went to sparing and got lots of sparing rounds.
Work week is over. Katherine has the day off. She enjoyed, I think, with me at work and the boys in school. She deserved it. Looking forward to Black Belt class. I always enjoy it. I miss my mentor though. Looking forward to my days off and making breakfast for my boys.
Today I had to leave school early for a doctor's appointment. This appointment was a follow up for a previous appointment that took place last November. The story behind this is that I was having trouble breathing during a lot of track and xc meets, so eventually we get around to mentioning this the doctor when i got my annual physical in the summer of last year where I was told I had exercise-induced asthma and then referred to a specialist. Then in November, the specialist said that he thought that the issue was with my vocal chords doing the opposite of what they were supposed to do (they were apparently contracting and restricting my oxygen intake when I inhale and releasing any air reservoir when I exhale). Today he ran a test that he couldn't run before due to lack of equipment the would measure the amount of a certain...
toady was a good day. first of all I had school. I had a biology test which was not that hard. then I had all my other classes. after school I had to go to my brothers soccer game which started at 4. after the game I went to sparring class. class was pretty fun as always. I went home then I had dinner. today was a pretty normal day.
Today was peaceful it was cold in the morning, and hot in the afternoon like any other day. It is peaceful Everything was quite I got my requirements done. Only the accastional bus passing by. Well I got to got bye. 8/28/18
Today we had our second of 3 tennis matches of the week. We completely bombed this match. Nobody won, but that is also because we played a big public school, which is something that we never do. This caused a big disruption in our schedule, but that's okay. That is why the name of this journal is wow. We didn't expect to do that bad. We were really tired especially after our long match yesterday, so our coach gave us the practice off tomorrow so we can finish homework and rest up for Thursday's match.
First class back after a week of recovering. Feels great to be back training.
So busy at work. I really wish they would dedicate more "Assets" to patrol. Everything is specialized to the detriment of patrol. Well, Only nine more months to go. Katherine tested Saturday and and got her belt. Green Belt. YEah!
My sister visited from Idaho. Haven't seen her in an extremely long time. Had dinner with my mother and her husband. Grilled out and had a good time. (post dating for same log-in issues)
Okay so today was my first day of highschool. I didn't execpt so many people to be in on place. Okay so my homeroom is on the second floor and my classes revolve around this one stair well. Lets just say that it was a challenge to get up and down the stairs it felt like being in the center of a five mile long traffic jam. My day was fun though but imagine my shock when I got to class at tae kwon do. More stairs alright got to run bye.
Today I did almost all my push ups and sit-ups with my dad the rest I did by myself. I had to read fro my summer reading challenge for school so that took up much of the day. Today me my mom and my dad all went to go get pedicures and the place went to was soo fancy. At the place they had a massage chair and it was very relaxing. Today I did 1 mile instead of the usual two. I hope every had a great Sunday and is ready to go back to school!
today was like any other day. it was a boring Monday, which all of my classes took forever. after school I had to do some homework. I had to study for a biology test tomorrow. I think it is going to be easy though. after some more time I had to go to my brothers football practice. it was all right. when I came back home I had dinner. overall it was a fine day.
Finally feeling better. Hopefully the weather doesn’t keep changing temperatures.
Today was the first day of school! It wasn't over-the-top amazing, but it wasn't boring either. My classes seem pretty easygoing and fun, so far... Now that school has begun, I have to get into a new routine for my requirements.
Today was first day of school and it was good to see all my friends but classes not very exciting. Plus, got homework on the first day. Yuk! Was able to get a little of my Black Belt items in today and attended class and met with my mentor. Starting my week as a white belt so I can check that off the list. Late day and have to go get some rest because tomorrow is day number 2 of school.
busy day today with church and training related to the serving i do at the church with pre-school kids. I also had to pack and get ready for school as tomorrow is my first day. Today is my last day where I want have school work I have to figure out how to work in. I was able to get most of my goals met today so that was good.
Today I had an early start because all of the schools began today, which means we had to leave earlier to reach in time. I am glad my school already started, because I am in a routine now for when to wake up each day. After school, we had a tennis match which ended at 8:00. I then had to come home, shower, eat dinner, and finish my homework. I stayed up kind of late to finish my homework, but I think I will be good for the rest of the week.
I woke up for school, but could barely get myself out of bed. I was so tired that I was constantly falling asleep in class. I would doze off and right before I was asleep, I would wake myself up. I have my study hall first, so I took a nap after I did my homework. Tomorrow, I have a Civics and math quiz. The math is really easy for me. I am in math 2 honors, which is 10th grade math honors. I am in 9th grade. The civics quiz is just about vocabulary, which is also not that hard.
Today I was planning to get up early and take my dog to Reedy Creek Park to walk the trails to get in some miles and then go to church, but I accidentally slept through my alarm since I couldn't get to sleep until 01:30 am because of how much I was coughing. It was too late to go to church, so my dad, my brother, and I still took my dog to the park to walk him through the trails, and he was quite excited at first until he walk went on and he became more and more tired. In the last .75mi. or so, it took quite a bit longer to walk due to how tried my dog was; we gave him plenty of water, we stayed hydrated, and everyone was happy with the walk.
I awaken this morning had a very good breakfast, said our goodbyes to everyone and got on the highway returning home . After driving over 500 miles I was asked to get off the road, hotel room and resume tomorrow. We should be home tomorrow sometime.
Nona (mother in law) is leaving Saturday to go back to Peru for a bit. Gonna miss her and I know Katherine and the boys will as well. She is so sweet. Testing should be fun on Friday. The boys are a go but I think Katherine will have to do make-up testing. She has to work until 6 (or later) on Fridays. I know she is disappointed. She has started getting into TKD lately and seems to be enjoying herself. She has been so supportive during the BB Cycle. She understands that it takes a large time commitment and that has prevented me from doing things with her or going places with her.
I broke my toes last Sunday. They were very bruised and swollen, but they had gotten a lot better. Yesterday, I woke up and another bruise appeared, so we went to get them X-Rayed. They told us that I should take a week off of cheer, dance, and tae kwon do, but there is no possible way I can do that. If I have any down time whatsoever where I am not doing anything, I become a blob. I have to stay active to feel accomplished and feel productive.
Today was exciting I went out with my family and we got ice cream. I finished all my homework and requirements plus the rest of my book. All in all very productive. Also so not ready for school tomorrow I have practice and a math test but I am ready
