Today was a crazy busy day and I am exhausted! I woke up and went to school and in the morning, our school had a really nice remembrance event relating to the 9/11 attacks. The orchestra and chorus performed the national anthem, and I was also able to be a part of the performance because I played the snare drum during the national anthem. After the remembrance ceremony, the rest of the school day proceeded as normal. After school, I tried to get as many requirements as I could knocked out before class. Class was good today, we had some new drills and a written test review. After class, I headed over to my school's football field because there was a home game tonight, and since I lead my school's drumline, I for sure had to be there as soon as class was over. The football game itself was super exciting, the lead kept going back and forth, especially in the last quarter, which was a nail-biter. Pine Lake (Which is where I go to school and who I was rooting for) managed to secure a one-point win, which was so exciting to watch and be a part of. After the game, I came home and finished the remaining requirements that I couldn't complete before class. I hope everyone had a great Friday and a great week!
